NORTH CARLTON OSTEOPATHY - Key Persons

Matt Stacey

A background in sport was a catalyst for his desire to become an Osteopath. It allows him to help people achieve their goals and live a healthy lifestyle both of which often result in better musculoskeletal health. After graduating in 2010 with undergraduate and Masters degrees in Osteopathy, Matt has furthered his skills with courses in Pilates, dry needling and bike fitting. He combines a strong hands-on approach with expert injury management and exercise prescription. Growing up in Woodend in regional Victoria, Matt has always had a keen interest in being active. From playing football whilst growing up and then in later years developing a love for cycling - this lead to the local racing scene in Melbourne, as well as the opportunity to ride some of the famous climbs in France and Italy. In recent years he has also taken an interest in pregnancy and children's health. This interest developed after seeing some of the issues his wife faced through pregnancy, as well as the growing number of children who present to Osteopaths with injuries relating to both sport and the ubiquitous ‘screen time'. In his spare time, Matt still loves to ride his bike wherever possible. He frequently has his 18month old son Hudson on his back, and a new young daughter Zoe who has him wrapped around her little finger already.
