New Holstein Utilities is a locally-owned and operated electric, water, water softening and sanitary sewer utility, serving more than 2,600 customers in New Holstein, Wisconsin and five surrounding townships. The community's early founders voted to establish their own community-owned utility to provide light to the downtown area and to encourage economic development. While a lot has changed over the past century as to how electricity is used, the focus of New Holstein Utilities has not. Today, we still offer our customers some of the lowest electric rates in the area - rates typically lower than those in territories that are served by most investor-owned utilities...
