Dr Jada Kapoor

Dr Jada Kapoor is an Australian-trained urological surgeon who specialises in the management of genitourinary cancers, voiding dysfunction (including benign prostatic enlargement and incontinence), and kidney stones. Dr Kapoor attained her undergraduate medical degree at The University of Melbourne, and was the highest achieving candidate in Urology during her postgraduate diploma of surgical anatomy. She undertook advanced training in all disciplines of Urology across Queensland and Victoria, completing her fellowship with a focus on complex urologic oncology and robotic surgery through St Vincent's Hospital and Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre in Melbourne. She is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons and a member of the Urological Society of Australia and New Zealand. Dr Kapoor holds public appointments at St Vincent's Hospital Melbourne and Austin Hospital, where she is active in the training of Urology registrars. She is also an Examiner at the Melbourne Medical School, where she is involved in teaching medical students. Her research interests include prostate and kidney cancer. She has published in peer-reviewed journals, written a book chapter, and presented her work at several scientific meetings in these fields. Dr Kapoor strives to provide evidence-based and patient-centred care, with an emphasis on preserving and improving quality of life. She offers minimally invasive surgery, as well as office-based procedures, to minimise recovery time and make frequently repeated procedures, such as intravesical Botulin Toxin (Botox), more convenient for patients.

Dr. Jos Jayarajan

Dr. Jos Jayarajan joined the North Eastern Urology team in 2015. Jos is a general Urological Surgeon, who compliments the NEU group with her sub-specialty interest in the management of male and female incontinence, voiding dysfunction and female urological conditions including pelvic organ prolapse. Jos graduated with honours from the University of Melbourne in 2004, and completed her specialist Urological Surgical training in Victoria. She then travelled to leading institutions in Toronto, Cape Town and New York to undertake two years of extensive training. During her year in Toronto, Jos also gained significance experience in performing fluoroscopic urodynamics for evaluating urinary symptoms in both males and females, including those with post surgical incontinence, and patients with neurological conditions such as spinal cord injury, Parkinson's Disease and Multiple Sclerosis. Jos is experienced in the latest treatments for: Stress and urgency urinary incontinence in males and females Female pelvic organ prolapse - including ‘no mesh', laparoscopic and robotic procedures Bladder pain and urgency conditions Voiding dysfunction in patients with neurological conditions Urethral stricture disease Jos believes in utilising medical therapies or minimally invasive treatments for urological conditions where possible. Surgical treatments offered include intravesical Botox, neuromodulation, midurethral and tissue slings for stress urinary incontinence; endoscopic and mesh-free vaginal procedures for female pelvic organ prolapse.

Mr Gregory Jack

Greg is dual certified by the American Board of Urology and the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons. He is an international lecturer recognized amongst his peers for his expertise in kidney stone treatments, stone prevention and minimally invasive/same day kidney and prostate treatments. He was acknowledged in the Wall Street Journal in 2015 discussing kidney stone aetiology and prevention.

Mr. John Rogerson

John has practiced with North Eastern Urology since 1994. He has a long term association with Austin Health (including the Repatriation Campus), initially as a medical student, then as a junior doctor and remains on staff as a visiting Medical Specialist. John commenced training in Urology in Adelaide and completed his fellowship in Melbourne before undertaking specialist training in reconstructive urology at Guy's Hospital in London. John practices general urology, but is best known for his interest in reconstructive urology (such as bladder enlargement and replacement and urethroplasty and buccal graft), neuropathic bladder management (has links with the Victorian Spinal Cord Service), Urodynamics and incontinence management particularly following radical prostatectomy incontinence (such as insertion of Artificial Urinary Sphincter or Male Sling. John is a member of AMA, Royal Australasian College of Surgeons, and Urology Associates of Australia and New Zealand. John's interests outside urology includes spending time with his family, playing golf and tennis and sailing when the opportunity presents. John also has an interest in old cars. Mr. Peter Liodakis

Job Titles:

Peter completed his general Urological training in Melbourne and subsequently spent a year in Western Australia doing a fellowship in minimally invasive surgery. Peter has many interests within Urology but in particular with minimally invasive surgery including laparoscopic and robotic procedures.
