Cheri Woodson

Cheri has been happily married to Frank for 26 years and is a proud Mom to Bradley and Reilly who are both currently college students. Cheri enjoys family time, attending kids' sporting events, boating, scrapbooking, and being with friends. She is an '82 graduate of Ursuline Academy and '86 Graduate of Southwest Missouri State University (Magna Cum Laude) where she earned her Bachelor's Degree in Political Science with an Individualized Major in Paralegal Studies. Cheri worked as Office Manager for Higgins & Associates for 11 years before deciding to work part-time from home for them for 12 more years to have more time to enjoy being a Mom. In addition, she has worked for 13 years as an Independent Contractor providing bookkeeping services to a law firm in Kirkwood, MO. Cheri joined Novus Companies in May 2010 as a Part-Time Assistant in the Accounting Department to provide support to the CFO and Owner.

Diana Schaefer - EVP

Diana Schaefer works in conjunction with Jonathan Browne and is his Executive Vice President. Diana is not only the point of contact for access to Jonathan, but also plays an important role in many of the acquisition negotiations within development projects. Prior to joining Novus, Diana worked for Investors Title Company where she was an Assistant Closer. Diana holds a Missouri state license in Title Insurance and is also a Missouri Notary. Diana has held board positions with multiple private schools, conservation associations and has been the trustee of multiple neighborhood associations. She is an avid gardener and a longstanding member of the Ladue Garden Club. She graduated from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, and holds a Bachelor of Science degree. Diana currently resides in Ladue with her family.

Larry Hoyt

Larry Hoyt joined Novus Companies in June of 2002. Larry began his work at Novus as a maintenance technician and was promoted to Property Manager in April of 2005. As Property Manager, Larry continues to be "hands on" with the day-to-day maintenance and upkeep of the properties. Larry is a graduate of St. Meinrad College in Indiana with a BA in English. He continued his studies earning a Master of Divinity degree from St. Meinrad School of Theology. Larry's work history has always been service-oriented and believes that his greatest asset as a Property Manager is to develop and maintain exceptional tenant/resident relations. As Property Manager, Larry is responsible for preparing annual property budgets, providing owners with projected planned improvements, supervising and developing maintenance personnel, maintaining physical properties through evaluation and planning, negotiating vendor contracts and overseeing contractual obligations. He is also responsible for the coordination of tenant improvements, assuring that all properties are code compliant, and kept clean and safe. At the end of the day Larry returns to his home in Robertsville, MO where he lives with his wife Susie. "It is all worthwhile when I return home and my grandkids greet me with excitement to go out and play."

Michael Koch

Michael Koch is the Director of Investments for Novus Companies, a St. Louis-based commercial real estate firm founded in the 1980s. He is also the owner of Highmark Commercial Real Estate, a commercial real estate brokerage firm based in St. Louis, MO. With nearly 20 years of multifaceted experience in the industry, Michael's responsibilities have included creating comprehensive leasing and merchandising strategies for landlords and tenants, commercial property investment sales, asset management, project consulting, tenant and landlord representation, and acquisitions/dispositions of retail, office, medical, mixed-use, and land projects nationwide. Michael has procured leases with numerous national, regional, and local commercial tenants, and has coordinated leasing programs for several ground-up developments and existing portfolios. His broad investment experience has focused on multi-tenant and single-tenant retail, office and medical properties nationwide. Michael is a Missouri licensed real estate broker, and a reciprocating broker throughout several other states. He is also a longstanding member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC). Michael graduated from the University of Georgia in 2005, and resides in St. Louis with his wife, two kids, and 4.6 lb. pomeranian Samson.

Nancy Hoeing - CFO

Nancy was born and raised in St. Louis. In 1981, she married her college sweetheart, John. They have two sons and seven grandchildren. She enjoys spending time with her family, doing crafts with her grandchildren, gardening, and traveling. She is a graduate of University City High School and the University of Missouri - St. Louis, where she earned a B.S. in Business Administration and a B.A. in German. She was an active member of and helped to reorganize the German Club and tutored German on campus. Nancy completed 22 years in banking, starting out as a part-time drive-up teller in 1978 at Continental Bank, and ending with the role of Assistant Vice President of Mortgage Accounting with Firstar Bank. Nancy left banking in 2000 to join Walpert Properties as Controller. In 2010, they merged with Principal CRE and in 2014 she was promoted to Vice President of Finance. Nancy joined Novus Companies in October 2015 as Chief Financial Officer and is a member of CREW - St. Louis.
