Monty Sharma has been an integral part of the North Castle team since 1999. He has significant experience in consumer packaged goods, including more than 25 years of sales, marketing, finance, and operations experience and over 15 years of direct industry experience as the CEO of four North Castle portfolio companies. In addition to his current role as CEO of Curves/Jenny Craig, Monty has served as CEO of Atkins, Naked Juice, and EAS. In his current CEO role, he is leading the turnaround and combination/integration of Curves and Jenny Craig. Monty was deeply involved in the due diligence and development of the operating blueprint for Curves/Jenny Craig and is working closely with the North Castle team to revive these two iconic brands. As President and CEO of Atkins from 2007 to 2010, he assembled a 10-member senior management team to establish the infrastructure to rebuild the brand and drive growth. During his tenure as CEO of Naked Juice Company from 2005-2007, sales doubled, making the company the fastest growing premium refrigerated juice brand. Based on this successful execution, which increased distribution and streamlined the supply chain, the company was sold to PepsiCo. EAS was another success story for Monty. After serving as the company's CFO and COO from 1999 to 2003, he was promoted to President and CEO, where he drove a doubled sales and led the company's successful strategic sale to Abbott Laboratories. As a result of his contributions to the success of each of these North Castle investments, Monty received the North Castle CEO of the Year Award in 2004, 2008, and 2009.
