RK Miller retired from the Huntington Beach (Calif.) Police Department as a lieutenant after 30 years of service in a variety of assignments, including FTO, trauma support, beach detail, detectives, special enforcement unit, SWAT, field supervisor, watch commander, Executive Officer and training manager. He has been on staff for over 20 years as first a Recruit Training Officer and then an instructor at the Golden West College (Huntington Beach, CA) Criminal Justice Training Center.
