Ochre Business was established in 2004 as an education provider specialising in providing facilitation and mentoring services in Business Entrepreneurship, Financial Literacy, Home Ownership and Governance Training. We have educated in excess of 5000 individuals and mentored over 1000 business owners. More importantly we have educated people to become better business owners, buy their first homes, buy their first investment property, reduce their own personal debt, avoid bankruptcy whilst at the same time developing their skills and creating confidence... Ochre Business was established in April 2004 by two Maori women accountants. The name OCHRE was chosen to reflect the founders' cultural backgrounds and beliefs. In Maori mythology the first Maori women, Hine-Ahu-One was made from OCHRE clay and so this reflected our belief in nurturing indigenous communities and empowering our communities through knowledge and education...
