The Old Candle Barn - Gift Shop, Manufacturer and Wholesale located in the Village of Intercourse. Taper, Pillar and Votive Candles made the old fashioned way for over 25 years... The Old Candle Barn manufactures a variety of traditional candles from pillars, votives and tapers to jars, along with potpourri, room sprays, refresher oils and so much more... The Beginning… John and Fannie Beiler began making candles in their basement in the late 60's. Their candle making business expanded so rapidly that they moved the candle operation three times before settling in the Village of Intercourse. The initial building, built in 1982, consisted of 12,000 square feet.
