Kent & Kim's youngest son, Aaron has been working here since his sophomore year in high school. Bright, engaging, and energetic, he makes our operation a true "family" business. Having graduated from Newman High school, he first studied here at University of Wisconsin before attending UW at Madison. His focus has been on the business side of our operation. Accomplished golfer, Aaron makes our Olson Tire team shine both on the front lines & on the course!
Alex joined our company after completing a technical college degree in automotive from NorthCentral Technical College. Affectionately known here as our "gentle giant" he has quickly caught on to understanding and implementing our beliefs of Happy Car service. He enjoys learning about old cars and seeing some of the unique and exotic cars developed over the years.
He enjoys Star Wars movies and has even named his cat "Vader", We look for Alex to continue to hone his skills as a full fledged auto technician together in our mutual journey.
An Olson not related by blood, just employment, Alex is helping us expand our deep cleaning and detailing capabilities. At first a bit quiet, he has shown determined growth and a passion to partner as a teammate and grow his skill set with every passing day. We believe his talents will continue to emerge and are very excited to have him part of the team.
Watching these young people gain traction in their lives is what makes Kent & Kim proud. Thanks for joining us Alex.

ASE Certified Technician. Starting as a youth apprentice in his junior year of high school, Boyd excelled learning valuable work skills in that fabulous program. Continuing his education at NTC he achieved his certification and became one of our young fabulous technicians. A true "gear head" knowing all things mechanical he has become one of the great success stories of trade school education. Boyd shares his tremendous wit and quick smile.
ASE Master Certified Technician & L1 Engine Performance Specialist. Carl is a hard working and talented technician. With him on board we now boast a stable of ASE Master Technicians with L1 Advanced Engine Performance Diagnostic Certifications. He has been committed to advanced technical training over the years and has our teams' largest toolbox. His recent addition to his life is a brand new baby boy named Braxton. Congratulations Carl!
ASE Certified Parts & Service Consultant. Dylan came to us as a parts room specialist and since then has expanded those abilities to include being both an ASE certified parts and service consultant. He is truly adept at locating those hard to find parts so our technicians can serve you. He is developing a great knowledge base for all aspects of the tire & service business and is one of our strongest leaders for our team. He is truly committed to legendary customer service.
ASE Certified Service Consultant. Easily the toughest position in any company is being the boss's kid. Evan has developed a real camaraderie with the guys. A natural for customer service, we hope to provide him with enough experience to supplement those skills while he attends college. He graduated from Newman Catholic High school in 2011. Kent and Kim are proud of the kindness, sincerity, honesty and compassion that he demonstrates on a daily basis.
ASE Master Certified Technician & L1 Engine Performance Specialist. Jon is a technical mastermind. His knowledge of all things electrical helps him truly excel as a technician. He is one of our real leaders in technology and teamwork. Jon is an ASE Master Technician and L1 Engine Performance Specialist and a great mentor for the younger technicians. In fact, he has recently expanded his mentoring to include some adjunct faculty work at Northcentral Technical College.
Sometimes a new hire comes into a facility and for a while can be a liability, or at least not fully engaged. Occasionally you can hire someone who immediately makes your team and/or your facility better. Jordan made us better the first day he started here. A real team player, who leads by setting a strong example for everyone to emulate, he has led with his energy and an overall sense of caring.
Every day you get the same effort and humor with Jordan. If you want to "get it done", then Jordan is your man. Thanks for bringing that passion and energy to our organization Jordan. It's truly appreciated.

Yes - sometimes, associates leave for awhile and then after being away realize the opportunity to be a part of this team has something rewarding. Josh did just that, but we are excited to welcome him back and hope his growth continues to keep him engaged. We hired Josh back to help us in a hybrid role, as both a part time technician (where he is excellent,) and also to help with our guest services ( where he excels at being committed to guest satisfaction).
Plus, Josh's son Mason is a Vikings fan, so he fits right in with Aaron, Evan & Kent - SKOL Mason! We welcome them both to our team's again!

Attending the UW in Madison, we may only have her for breaks and/or summer employment for now, but she is an absolute joy in our midst. A bit sassy like Kim & Traci helps too, we have really enjoyed our relationship so far.
Kent is the President and owner of Olson Tire & Auto Service, Inc.
Kent is the inspiration and visionary that hurdles the company forward. His unfailing commitment to the industry, his associates, and the community are matched only by his love for his family. Kim & Kent have two sons, Evan & Aaron.
Kim is Kent's wife and the backbone of the company. She handles the office aspects of the business, keeping the books in order. She also is one of the emotional keys to the company by providing Kent with the stability he needs to commit the time & energy to our business and his volunteerism. She has brought her special bond with children to bear by befriending all of our associates little ones and sharing their wonderful fascination.
Our organization is deeply committed to volunteering and assisting a program called Wheels to Work. To achieve success we need student volunteers to participate and that is how we met Logan. Volunteering for a Saturday mentoring/training class, Logan immediately made an impression on our experienced mentors. While studying in his first year at NTC, we offered him some part time employment and it has been a positive relationship ever since!
We have enjoyed watching him learn and grow and are convinced that he has great potential in this industry and in his future. Thanks for being a volunteer Logan! And welcome to our team!
ASE Certified Technician. Marty has been with Olson Tire & Auto since January 15, 1991, and in all these years has not missed a single day of work!! Marty is married to a wonderful woman, Karen, and enjoys camping and restoring his classic Ford Galaxie 500. His great laugh and sense of humor keep us all smiling. An ASE certified technician in several areas, Marty's strength is being one of the best alignment technicians in the area.
ASE Certified Technician. Nathan continues the trend we have established of finding and hiring NTC graduates for our business. A young man anxious to learn, he has a bustling family. Along with his wife they have four captivating young children. Their house is always full of energy and excitement. Nathan seems to have great resolve to improve not only himself, but the families opportunities.
Nick is absolutely PERFECT for our team. Coming to us from a guest services background, we immediately sensed where he would best fit. He is the smiling, greeting face at our front counter! Committed to helping you and your vehicle enjoy every benefit of our Happy Car experience. Nick's willingness to go that extra step for your satisfaction is part of what makes him so special. He simply has a great personality for customer service.
He and Kaydee also have a beautiful daughter, and we are thrilled that we somehow managed to have Nick select us for their continued journey. Excited to have you all a part of our family!
Boy oh Boy - Sam's FUN to be around. Hired here to help us provide your vehicles with a quality and dedicated free courtesy wash, Sam EXCELS at caring about your vehicle. He knows about every type, make and model. He LOVES to come to work. He brings a smile to our faces no matter how stressful a day we are having. Sometimes we all just need to "stop and smell the roses" as a famous singer once said….and for us that's what happens when Sam shows up for work.
Say Hi if you see him. He'll love to tell you about your car or truck he washed - and I guarantee that you too will walk away with a smile! Great to have Sam as a part of "The Happy Car" place!
Tom is one of a kind. An endearing man with a great family whom we have watched grow from when they were kids, we have truly been blessed to have both Tom & Ruth in our lives - first as our guests, and now as a team member. A regular treat is Tom showing up on Tuesday mornings with Panera Bagels for the whole gang. What a great big heart, champion to his church, and a gift to our whole community.
Tyler joined our team while attending NTC in the entrepreneurial marketing/development program. As sometimes happens, he came referred to us from an existing associate and he has been an excellent addition. Joining our team in the detail/deep cleaning arena he has been focused, reliable, and committed to making your vehicles smiles "shine"!
Not yet sure how long our journeys will coincide, but he certainly has been a great asset here in 2020
ASE Certified Technician. Tyson came to us via the Youth Apprentice program as our first student from Merrill. Tyson has been identified by ALL my staff as having a fantastic, innate sense of all things mechanical. We are pleased to have assisted him in continuing his education at the technical college. He completed his degree in the spring of 2014. Courteous, engaging and quick with a smile, we are pleased we took an extra chance to gain another great associate.
Sometimes, it's family friends who initiate an opportunity. Will's Dad and Kent share a passion for golf and the "19th" hole conversations. And during one of those Will's dad shared a desire to see his son have a great learning experience while in high school. And so, our relationship with Will was born! Will being a full time student and athlete has limited some of his exposure, but when he has been here he has excelled at a quick pace.
His growth is limitless, and his work ethic is strong. We look forward to watching him grow (and compete!).
