Dr. Alex Catalano

Dr. Alex Catalano is originally from Pelham, New Hampshire. Dr. Catalano began riding at a young age and spent many of her teenage years as a working student at a dressage facility in Massachusetts. After completing her undergraduate studies at the University of New Hampshire (where she met Dr. Frazier!), she attended veterinary school at the Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University. After graduation, Dr. Catalano completed a rotating internship at Rhinebeck Equine. Following her internship, she practiced at an equine clinic in New Hampshire until joining the OSEA team. Dr. Catalano has special interests in sports medicine, preventative care, and emergency medicine. In her spare time, Dr. Catalano enjoys spending time on Cape Cod with family, watching horse racing, outdoor sports, and riding her Quarter Horse gelding "Jyote".

Dr. Anne Marie Skiffington

Dr. Anne Marie Skiffington is originally from Brockton, Massachusetts. As a native New Englander, she is "wicked" excited to be back in the area that she grew up in. Dr. Skiffington developed her passion for veterinary medicine when she was a kid on the backside at the racetrack. She attended St. George's University School of Veterinary Medicine in which she spent her clinical year at Virginia Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine. After graduation, Dr. Skiffington completed a one-year internship at Ocean State Equine and continued as an associate veterinarian. Dr. Skiffington has a special interest in lacerations, respiratory medicine, and diagnostic imaging. In her free time, she enjoys horseback riding, baking, and watching movies.

Dr. Enda Currid

Dr. Enda Currid was born in the northwest region of Ireland and graduated from the University College Dublin School of Veterinary Medicine in 1994. After a one-year internship in Large Animal Surgery at U.C. Dublin in 1995, he moved to the United States to begin a three-year residency in Large Animal Surgery at Tufts University in Grafton, Massachusetts. Dr. Currid joined the practice in 1998. He and his wife purchased the practice in 2001. He is the staff surgeon and his special interests are lameness and sports medicine. He is currently working toward accreditation with the International Society for Equine Locomotor Pathology (ISELP). Though time is limited, Dr. Currid enjoys hiking, fishing, snowboarding with his wife, and spending time with his sons, Cathal and Daire.

Dr. Hollie Stillwell

Dr. Hollie Stillwell is originally from Narragansett, Rhode Island. Dr. Stillwell attended the University of Rhode Island where she received a B.S. and M.S. in Animal Science with special emphasis in endocrinology in 1994. After earning her veterinary degree from Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine in 1998, Dr. Stillwell completed a one-year internship at Millbrook Equine Veterinary Clinic in New York. She is the managing partner of OSEA and enjoys many aspects of equine medicine. Dr. Stillwell does have a special interest in equine reproduction. In her treasured spare time, she enjoys surfing, gardening, snowboarding and just hanging around with her husband, Enda, and sons, Cathal and Daire.

Dr. Kate Frazier

Dr. Kate Frazier is originally from central Connecticut. She began riding at a young age and grew up competing in the hunter jumpers. After completing her undergraduate degree at the University of New Hampshire, she continued to Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine for her veterinary education. After graduating from veterinary school, she completed a one-year internship at Ocean State Equine Associates. Following her internship, she practiced at an equine ambulatory practice until returning to Ocean State Equine Associates. Dr. Frazier has a special interest in equine dentistry and geriatric care. In her free time, Dr. Frazier enjoys spending time with her horse, PA, and dog, Nessie.

Dr. Megan Calitri

Dr. Megan Calitri is originally from Cumberland, Rhode Island, and even worked as a technician at OSEA before attending vet school. She fell in love with animals, particularly horses at an early age and has followed that passion through school. Dr. Calitri attended the University of Rhode Island for her undergraduate degree then continued to The Atlantic Veterinary College for her doctorate. She completed a one-year internship focusing on primary care and ambulatory medicine in upstate New York and is thrilled to return to the region. Dr. Calitri is excited to continue her learning through the Lameness and Sports Medicine Fellowship with Dr. Currid when she is not seeing emergencies.

John Silva

John is part of our front office staff. He is a native Rhode Islander, he grew up riding in the Hunter/Equitation discipline. After graduating High School he went on to be a working student at several facilities in Ocala, FL, and Ontario, Canada. Julie is originally from Cumberland, Rhode Island whose love of horses began at the age of five. While growing up, she spent all of her free time as the quintessential "barn rat", running around numerous facilities, absorbing any information while growing her skill as a horsewoman. Kaitlyn McBrien

Deb is our Facility Manager at the North Scituate location and works alongside Kaitlyn. She was raised in Rhode Island and is local to North Scituate. Debbie has a farming background and has been around horses and animals since she was a child. When Debbie is not at the farm or running her own business, she enjoys spending time with her family. Kaitlyn is our Patient Care Manager and was born and raised on Cape Cod. She got the horse bug at the age of 4 and has been riding ever since. She has a background in hunter/jumpers and dressage. She first started working at OSEA back in 2012 and is glad to be back with the team as a part-time veterinary technician. In her free time, she can be found on the beach with her Golden Retriever, Buoy.

Kayla Cesario

Kayla is from Sterling, CT, and has been an avid equestrian since the age of 12. She grew up trail riding as a kid and riding hunter/jumpers as a young adult. Monica Leech

Monica is our Practice Manager and all-around go-to gal. A local Rhode Islander, Monica has worked at Ocean State Equine Associates since she was young (over thirteen years) and adds a wealth of knowledge to our front office staff. Renee is our head technician at OSEA. She grew up in Attleboro, MA, and attended Meredith Manor International Equestrian Centre where she studied equine training, riding instruction, and equine husbandry. Tanya Chipman

Tanya is from Exeter, RI, and has been riding since she was 7 years old. In 2020 she graduated from New England Tech with an associate in Veterinary Technology. She worked as a small animal technician before coming to Ocean state where she could for fill her passion to work with horses. In her time off she enjoys riding with her daughter Alayna, hiking, and spending time with family.
