Dr. Gordon Walker is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon who offers highly experienced surgical and nonsurgical care for a full spectrum of injuries, conditions, and disorders that affect bones, joints, and muscles. He proudly treats adult and pediatric patients in Hutchinson, Minnesota. His expertise includes arthritis, minimally invasive joint surgery, ankle and foot care, fractures and dislocations, sports medicine, and joint replacement for the knee, hip, and shoulder.
Dr. Walker completed his undergraduate studies at Fergus Falls Community College in Fergus Falls, Minnesota, and Concordia College in Moorhead, Minnesota, where he graduated magna cum laude. He then earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Minnesota Medical School and studied at campuses in Duluth and Minneapolis. Continuing his training at the University of Minnesota, Dr. Walker completed his internship and residency through the school's Department of Surgery and Department of Orthopaedic Surgery in Minneapolis.
Dr. Walker is devoted to taking time to advise his patients and address their concerns to provide exceptional care, and when he is not seeing patients, he spends his time with his wife Dawn and his children, Kelsey, Stefan, and Timothy. Additionally, Dr. Walker understands the importance of staying healthy and active as an orthopaedic specialist, and he is also an avid swimmer.
Dr. Meland is a graduate of the University of North Dakota Medical School. He did his residency at Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis. He is a past president of Northfield Hospital + Clinics Medical Staff and formerly the Medical Director for Emergency Medical Services at the hospital.
He has provided spine triage services at the Orthopaedic and Fracture Clinic since 2000.

Jennifer Cousins is a certified physician assistant serving patients at The Orthopaedic & Fracture Clinic. Jennifer graduated magna cum laude from Minnesota State University, Mankato, before earning a graduate degree in sports administration from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. She earned her graduate degree in physician assistant studies at Des Moines University in Iowa.

Dr. Paul Matson is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon specializing in sports medicine, upper and lower musculoskeletal care, and joint replacement. He provides specialized, highly experienced treatment for bone, joint, and muscle issues for patients of all ages. Dr. Matson is a Minnesota native who has served area residents in Mankato and surrounding communities since 1988.
Before joining The Orthopaedic & Fracture Clinic, he received his bachelor degree in biology at St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minnesota. He then completed his medical education and orthopaedic training in Minneapolis. Dr. Matson earned his medical degree at the University of Minnesota Medical School before completing a general surgery internship at Hennepin Healthcare and an orthopaedic surgery residency at the University of Minnesota. Dr. Matson dedicated a decade serving as a team physician for Minnesota State University, Mankato.
He is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons.
He has had a lifelong commitment to the medical community. He served as President of the Minnesota Orthopedic Society and on the Board of Councilors of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons. He served as President of the Minnesota Medical Association and Chair of the MN delegation of the American Medical Association.
He is a recipient of the University of Minnesota Medical School Distinguished Alumni Award and the Minnesota Medical Association Distinguished Service Award.
Outside of his orthopedic practice, Dr. Matson enjoys outdoor activities with his wife, their five children, and their grandchildren. His interests include art, soccer, biking, downhill and cross-country skiing, hiking, canoeing, and adventure sports. Dr. Matson is also involved with local civic organizations, regional and national medical associations, and volunteer medical organizations for developing nations. He and his family have made multiple medical mission trips serving hospitals in Kenya and Cameroon, Africa.
