OPCO LABORATORY

OPCO was founded in 1976 by our Chairman, Saverio (Sam) Maldari, to provide Optical Coating services to high technology companies specializing in analytical instrumentation and industrial systems. In the 1980's, our growing base of customers sought a more complete solution from OPCO so we expanded operations to include Optical Fabrication and Optical Assemblies. With the optical technology applications continuing to increase in the 1990's, OPCO added Replicated Mirrors and Ruled Gratings... The future looks bright as the value that optical technologies bring to our customers and our society continues to grow. OPCO is committed to staying at the forefront of optics technology and manufacturing... OPCO provided the optics for the Solar Occulation Diffusor, the optic that looks directly at the sun and coupled this light to a fiber optic input to the spectrometer.
