Erica Gross

Job Titles:
  • Controller
Erica is the watchful eye quietly behind the scene monitoring all of the company's accounting and trust accounts. She also prepares all of the reports required for the company's CPAs and auditors. After graduating in 2001 with a degree in business management from California State University Northridge, Erica was head controller for Seaside Engineering. She then joined her husband Matthew, in 2004 to found Pacific Loanworks, Inc.

Genevie Mondragon

Job Titles:
  • Loan Servicing Manager
Genevie has really grown with us in all departments. She started out as a receptionist, and we immediately started working with her on collections. When Borrowers call with their problems, Genevie is the person that can help them resolve their issue. We then moved Genevie into our pay off department. She now is responsible for all sub and recons, including demand requests. After Genevie captured both of those departments, we immediately moved her into full loan servicing from Borrower's intake to Inventors disbursements. Genevie is responsible for complete servicing with all aspects for both the Borrower and the Investor. Isamar Mondragon

Job Titles:
  • Loan Servicing Assistant
Isamar graduated from California State University Dominguez Hills with her Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Management and Human Resources. Her background in Customer Service has allowed her to work exceptionally well with our borrowers. Isamar communicates with borrowers in regards to their loan, sends out important notices, and sends Welcome Packages. She also sends Recorded Documents to Lenders as well as Lender Closing Packages. Jessica Solis

  • Loan Doc Department Borrower and Investor
Jessica Solis has been in the Mortgage Industry for some time now. Jessica now heads up our Doc department, and is a real expert on all phases of docs from residential to commercial. Jessica is also responsible for handling all of the docs with our Private Investors through funding. She is a licensed Notary, and works directly with the Borrowers as well as the Investors. Jessica is currently working on her bachelor's degree in Political Science with an emphasis of pre-legal studies at California State University, Los Angeles. Her dream is to continue on with a Law Degree, and hopefully become in house council at Pacific Loan works. Habla Español.

Matt Gross - President

Matthew's career in finance started after his graduation from California State University in 1998. His area of expertise was in the origination, underwriting and funding of Small Business Administration, conventional and hard money loans. In 2004, Matthew along with his father co-founded Pacific Loanworks, Inc. His vision was to create a full service lending company that would meet the needs of the real estate industry at a time when lending sources for both borrowers looking to purchase property and investors looking for a product with a better than market return was limited. He developed a loan program that is specifically designed for any type of property with simple qualifications and a fast funding process. Private investors who want a secure investment with an attractive yield find these Trust Deeds to be an excellent investment option. Under Matthew's leadership the company has grown considerably since its inception, and he holds a very optimistic outlook for the future growth of the company.

Mike Gross - VP

Mike's experience in consumer finance spans a period of over 48 years. His career started in 1966 in the retail business with vehicle and business financing. In 1978 Mike became a licensed general contractor specializing in the purchase, development and building of individual single family residences, condominiums and apartments. Larger projects included the construction of commercial, industrial and office buildings. Typical projects would range from small $20,000 room additions to complete developments of over $10 million. His experience has been a primary factor contributing to his unique ability to properly evaluate a borrower's loan request for any size or type of rehab, construction or development project. Mike's transition to hard money financing began in 1994 as Senior Manager of the Hard Money division of Old City Mortgage, located in Covina, CA. His additional responsibilities included the processing of Government and SBA loans, along with institutional and commercial lending. In 2003, Mike with his son Matthew, formed Pacific Loanworks, Inc. The company began with the origination of several types of loan products for residential, commercial and governmental loans. Today the focus of the company is on the origination, acquisition and servicing of privately funded Hard Money loans.

Terry Alonso

  • Escrow Manager
If you have an escrow, title or funding problem, whether you are a Borrower or an Investor, you want Terry on your side. Terry is a real pro, as she has been a full charge Escrow Officer/Manager since 1980. Terry handles the complete escrow department for Pacific Loanworks, from refinances, purchase, and rehab loans! Terry is also a licensed Notary, and has full knowledge of all of our systems from escrow to loan servicing. Terry has been with us since 2010 and is a permanent fixture and a great asset to our company. She is always willing to work out any escrow / title issues any Borrower/Investor may have.
