Allen R. Pyle is the developer and owner of perennialguru.com. Allen is a research and marketing specialist for Raker in Litchfield, Michigan. He has worked at Raker since 1995. Raker is a wholesale plant propagation greenhouse, known for its quality and service in providing small, medium, and large growers with a wide variety of plant material, including perennials from seed and cuttings. Allen has a bachelor's degree in horticulture from Michigan State University and a master's degree in entomology, also from MSU. He is also certified in Permaculture Design. Allen is a respected perennial guru and has written numerous articles for horticulture industry magazines, incluing Greenhouse Management & Production (GMPro), FlowerTECH.
