Amanda has been part of the Petrillo & Goldberg Team since middle school and has worked in many capacities over the years. She is part of our pre-litigation team, and is excellent at resolving daily technology issues. Amanda has been an intricate part of the development of our vast document and case management program. She graduated with her B.A. in Linguistics from Rutgers-New Brunswick in 2008 and earned her M.A. in Criminal Justice from Rutgers-Camden in 2012. Amanda and her husband Chris have two young daughters who keep her busy when she is not working. Her hobbies include gardening, spending time with her family and hiking with her dogs at the dog park. Amanda has worked for the firm in different capacities over the past 14 years and is the firm's technology expert.

Joining Petrillo & Goldberg in 2019, Ashlan is an intricate part of our attorney support team. Ashlan holds a Bachelor of Arts in Music Degree. She has previously served as Secretary for the Department of Music at Eastern University, Ambassador for Messiah College's Development Office, and Intern to the Education Manager for Montgomery Theater. She is an active Voice Teacher/Music Director for Moorestown Theater Company. She has also served as a Choir Teacher for the Salvation Army Kroc Center in Camden, and Stage Manager for Eastern University's Department of Fine Arts. She is recently married, loves opera (both listening and performing), hiking, and her cats! Joining the Petrillo & Goldberg Team in 2019, Ashlan is an intricate part of our attorney support team.

Barbara D. Petrillo

Barbara D. Petrillo, Office Administrator, began working in the legal field with her husband Steven M. Petrillo, Esquire in 1986. She manages many aspects of the business end of the practice including accounting, human resources, and various other office dynamics. Barbara enjoys working with the staff and appreciates the hard work and dedication they all strive to achieve in order to give our clients the best representation possible. Barbara and her husband are blessed to have one son, three daughters, a son-in-law, and two adorable terriers. She enjoys reading, spending time with family and friends, bicycling, and jogging on the boardwalk in Ocean City, NJ. Barbara manages many aspects of the business end of the practice including accounting, human resources, and various other office dynamics.

Brittany Petrillo Fisher

Ms. Petrillo Fisher is an attorney licensed in Pennsylvania (2021) and New Jersey (2023). She earned her law degree from Temple Beasley School of Law, where she served as an editor for the Temple International and Comparative Law Journal and completed Temple's Integrated Trial Advocacy Program. During law school, she won the Stephen T. Saltz Memorial Scholarship writing competition through the Temple American Inn of Court. The faculty at Temple Law awarded her the Lena Hale Memorial Scholarship for her work in Federal Torts Claim Act cases, representing migrant children separated from their families at the US-Mexico Border under the Trump Administration. Prior to joining Petrillo and Goldberg as an attorney, she was a staff attorney at HIAS Pennsylvania representing minors in immigration proceedings seeking U.S. permanent residency, and as an associate in KPMG Philadelphia's International Tax Department performing complex tax analyses for corporate clients. Before law school, Brittany was a paralegal for Petrillo and Goldberg where she worked directly with clients and attorneys managing motor vehicle and premises liability matters. She taught English as a second language in Spain through a teaching grant awarded by the Spanish Ministry of Education. Brittany's academic, career, and life experiences before rejoining Petrillo and Goldberg as a licensed attorney demonstrate her deep desire to advocate for the "underdog" and overcome legal barriers for clients to achieve fairness and justice in their individual cases. She is an effective advocate in and out of the courtroom, and she understands how a single accident can present multiple health and legal challenges. Brittany Petrillo, Paralegal, Public Relations Specialist, and Bookkeeping Assistant, recalls her first day at Petrillo & Goldberg Law: "It was a bright summer morning, sunlight streaming through the blinds, birds chirping from outside the window, when I awoke abruptly to my father pounding on my bedroom door, insisting that I come in the office and fill in for secretaries on vacation." Thus, at the age of 14, her career at Petrillo & Goldberg had begun. As she learned the ropes of the law firm, Brittany quickly grew to love the law and legal system. "I am truly fortunate to have essentially ‘grown up' at Petrillo and Goldberg," she explains. "I've been able to experience firsthand what it means to be an advocate and to work for justice." Brittany recently graduated Magna Cum Laude from the Templeton Honors College of Eastern University with a BA in History. She will be leaving the firm for a year to accept a position in Malaga, Spain as an English teacher within the Government of Spain's Ministry of Education. Upon returning to the United States, she plans to attend law school and earn her JD.

Eileen M. Castellanos

Eileen has been with Petrillo & Goldberg since 2001 and has been working in the legal field since 1988. She has a strong background solving insurance issues and is a leader in our litigation department preparing cases for trial and other various court events on behalf of our clients. Eileen enjoys Broadway plays, hiking, gardening, and the Jersey Shore. She makes the best chocolate chip pancakes in South Jersey. Eileen has also volunteered as a club leader for a local children's study group. Eileen has been a legal secretary for 26 years and has been with Petrillo & Goldberg Law for the last 13 years.

Janice McLaughlin

Janice has been with the firm for eight years and is the deposition coordinator for the firm.

Jeff Thiel

Jeff concentrates his practice in the areas of motor vehicle, premises liability, and complex products liability claims and handles the firm's appellate practice. Mr. Thiel is an associate with the firm and concentrates his practice in the areas of motor vehicle, premises liability, and complex products liability claims. He handles the firm's appellate practice, conducts all depositions in litigated matters, performs extensive legal research and writing, and argues all of the firm's motions in court. Mr. Thiel also oversees Personal Injury Protection (PIP) claims for the firm and has successfully litigated numerous PIP matters. Mr. Thiel is admitted to the bars of New Jersey and Pennsylvania. He graduated from Muhlenberg College in 1999 with a B.A. in English and earned his Law Degree in 2004 from Rutgers University in Camden. He is a member of the New Jersey Bar Association, Pennsylvania Bar Association, Camden County Bar Association, and the American Association for Justice. Mr. Thiel resides in Marlton with his family.

Robert Goldberg

Robert Goldberg is an associate in Petrillo & Goldberg's personal injury department. He concentrates his practice on motor vehicle accidents and premises liability matters. He has a broad range of experience in several areas including personal injury, landlord-tenant law, small claims matters, complex business litigation, and criminal law. Prior to joining Petrillo and Goldberg, Robert was a law clerk for the Honorable John Harrington, Presiding Judge of the Civil Division in Burlington County. During law school, Robert was a law clerk for the Camden County Prosecutor's Office, Kahn, Gigliotti and Lehrfeld PC, Rosner Law Offices PC, and Mattleman, Weinroth, and Miller PC. Robert is a graduate of the Rutgers law school located in Camden, New Jersey. While there he was a member of the trial advocacy team and served on the executive Board of the student chapter the New Jersey Association for Justice. Robert is admitted to the New Jersey bar. He is a member of the New Jersey Bar Association, Camden County Bar Association, and the New Jersey Association for Justice.

Ronald Rubin

Ron has joined Petrillo & Goldberg in an Of Counsel capacity after practicing Civil, Family & Criminal law for nearly 50 years. He is licensed in New Jersey & Pennsylvania and has served clients on both sides of the river throughout his career. Ron is also approved to practice in Federal Court in multiple Districts and the Third Circuit Court of Appeals. Ron's undergraduate education was at Temple University. He then moved on to law school at Rutgers University where he received several awards for academic achievement. In addition to his practice, Ron has remained an active member of local and national legal groups and organizations. In his spare time, he can be found at the gym or a local golf course.

Steven M. Petrillo

As the author of the firm's team approach to personal injury claims, Steven serves daily to foster the firm's unique and successful approach to litigation philosophy and practice. A recent graduate with academic honors from Rutgers University Law School, Steven (Jr.) brings to the firm a scientific approach to the practice of law. Steven's lifelong passion and dual bachelor's of science degrees-also with academic honors-in biochemistry and psychology inform every inch of his work. Steven remains an avid runner, lettering in Cross-Country and later joining his college Varsity team. The scenic vistas of Cooper River Park abutting Petrillo and Goldberg are a frequent haunt of his, as are the many verdurous trails dotting the greater Philadelphia area. Petrillo and Goldberg is like a second home to Steven. Ever a proud participant in the family business, Steven has worked in nearly every sector of the practice from bookkeeping and box-hauling to medicolegal research and discovery. He is excited to continue on in his career as an attorney with the firm and under the ongoing tutelage of his father, Managing Partner Steven M. Petrillo, Sr. Steven married his college sweetheart and the love of his life in December of 2019. Steven and Ashlan are the proud and fortunate parents of two mischievous cats.
