Bernadette has had many years management experience in the Health Sector, prior to joining Proactive Business Services as Office Manager. Bernadette enjoys building rapport with clients and is interested in the adoption of cloud based software systems in the practice. Bernadette lives with her husband Ray and their children on Sydney's Northern Beaches. Outside work Bernadette enjoys walking, reading and craft.
Dushyanthi brings with her experience as working as an Accountant in Sri Lanka. She joined Proactive Business Services in 2014 having worked in Sydney for a number of years as a Senior Bookkeeper. Her areas of interest are Cloud Accounting software implimentation. Dushyanthi is Xero Certified and is also experienced with Intuit and MYOB software as well as SAP ERP Financial Accounting. Dushyanthi lives with husband on Sydney's Northern Suburb. Outside work she enjoys walking, reading and experiencing international cuisine.

Jan Jansen qualified as a Chartered Accountant with PWC in Perth and later worked as a Financial Controller in the mining industry. This was followed by a number of years working in London, Copenhagen and Sydney in the Investment Banking sphere, before returning to the Profession in Sydney - to work in the tax and business advisory. Jan is a registered tax agent and advises on small business tax issues for sole traders, companies, trusts and SMSF's. Jan lives on the Northern Beaches with his wife and 2 children. Outside of work Jan enjoys kajaking, stand up paddle boarding, rock fishing and motorbike riding.
Katherine worked in the taxation for many years before joining Proactive Business Services in 2018. As a Tax accountant Katherine in working with clients to get the best possible outcome. Katherine, her husband and young family live on Sydney's Northern Beaches. Outside work Katherine enjoys walking, music, cooking and going to the theatre.
Melissa worked in the hospitality industry for many years before joining Proactive Business Services in 2001. As a Senior Bookkeeper Melissa's areas of interest and expertise is payroll, accounts payable and receivable for the Hospitality, Childcare and Hair & Beauty Industries. Melissa is XERO certified and is experienced with MYOB and Starcare software. Melissa, her husband and family live in Sydney's Northern Suburbs. Outside work Melissa plays Netball, enjoys walking, cooking and going to the theatre.
Ram brings with him his experience as an Accountant in Nepal. Having worked in Sydney he joined Proactive Business Services in 2014. Ram's area of interest and expertise is management reporting, cloud accounting and assisting clients with budgeting and cashflow management. Ram is currently Xero certified and is studying for his CPA. Ram and his wife live on Sydney's Northern Beaches. Outside work he is interested in sport and mainitaining fitness.

Ray is the founder of Proactive Business Services Pty Ltd. He is a Certified Practicing Accountant and Fellow of CPA Australia (FCPA), Registered Tax Agent and Justice of the Peace. He has extensive experience with Small to Medium Businesses including those in the hospitality, recruitment, professional services, manufacturing, construction, aged and community care, wholesale and retail, tourism, and SMEs in general. Ray worked in Ireland, UK, Switzerland, USA, New Zealand and Japan - before moving to Australia. Ray has been actively involved in the Accounting Industry in Australia for over 25 years. He lives with his wife Bernadette and children on Sydney's Northern Beaches. Outside of work Ray enjoys walking and a variety of sports.
Sharan brings with him, his experience of working as an Accountant in Nepal and he has also worked and studied in Cyprus. Sharan's interest is in the area of cloud accounting and assisting clients with meeting their compliance obligations. Sharan and his wife live on Sydney's Southern Suburbs. His interests include swimming, football music and movies.
