Parallactic Consulting is a Chicago web development and custom programming agency specializing in Ruby on Rails websites and custom data programming for startups, small businesses, academics, and museums... Parallactic has been in business since 2006 providing custom technology solutions for startups, small businesses, academics, and museums... Parallactic worked with BallotReady in the spring of 2015 to create a prototype for the web application, which checks a user's address and uses a variety of metrics to find all districts in which they're eligible to vote. The application then queries BallotReady's custom database to provide the voter with information about each candidate on their upcoming ballot.
