Bob has been a leader in the commercial real estate market throughout the Southeast for the past 40 years. As the founder of Fidelity Management and Investment Corp. (later known as FMI Holdings), one of Atlanta's leading commercial real estate development firms of its time, Holbrook was a driving force behind the development, redevelopment, investment and management of many of today's foremost commercial properties in Atlanta, including Powers Pointe, Powers Ferry Landing North, Powers Ferry Landing West, Northridge Pointe, Northridge 400 and Regency Park (the 420 acre acquisition the centerpiece of which is the Ga 400 and Mansell Road interchange). Holbrook developed the company into one of the leading real estate investment, development and advisory companies in the Southeast, with five divisions organized specifically for investment, development and management of office properties, retail shopping centers, hotels and multifamily housing communities. FMI Holdings demonstrated success led to investment partnerships with some of the Nation's most prolific investment capital sources including GE Capital, Merrill Lynch/Hubbard, New York Life Insurance Company, Allstate Insurance Company, Home Life Insurance Company, Westinghouse Credit Corporation, Equity Planning, Fortune Federal Savings and The Citizens and Southern National Bank (now Bank of America).
