This temple has been destroyed by Islamic Kings and built by Hindu Kings many a times .Most recently it was rebuilt by Vallabhbhai patel in 1947. The temple are open from 06:00 am - 9:00 pm, with 3 aartis daily at 07:00am, 12:00pm and at 7:00pm. There is also a sound and light show at 7:45pm which lasts for 1 hour. The ticket price for the show is 25Rs &15Rs.
