(Spoleto is a beautiful medieval city in a valley situated in the green Umbria region in Italy, becoming known worldwide for its beauty, wine and olive oil.) He and his wife Michela were dedicated visionaries. The first tangible sign of the olive oil dream coming true happened just after WW II when they produced a small quantity of fine olive oil with a small traditional press that they had home-made... Their dream has blossomed into a fully-fledged industry. Once owned and supported by over 25 private olive estates from throughout Umbria, the Pietro Coricelli family has become one of the Spoleto largest olive oil company... The saying "good olives make good oil" is taken to heart by the grower / owners of Coricelli. They work co-operatively to share experience and strengths to produce a premium condiment oil for the international market.
