Aleasha Hester is an associate in the firm's Detroit office who is a member of the Torts & Litigation Practice Group. Ms. Hester focuses her practice in the area of general defense litigation, including product, premises and motor vehicle liability.
In addition, Ms. Hester has experience handling commercial litigation and first-party and third-party motor vehicle negligence cases with an emphasis on fraud investigation. The transportation law work includes experience with special investigative units in matters involving fraudulent procurement and claims, policy rescission and coverage disputes. She also has experience representing clients in the areas of trusts and estate planning, including the preparation of special needs trusts.
Ms. Hester is a member of the Probate Estate and Trusts and New Lawyers committees of the Oakland County Bar Association and the Business Law, Consumer Law and Probate & Estate Planning sections of the State Bar of Michigan.

Alyssa C. Kennedy is a member of Plunkett Cooney's Torts & Litigation and Medical Litigation practice groups. She maintains a wide-ranging litigation practice that includes the defense of premises liability, toxic torts, construction liability, ski resort and product liability claims, as well as motor vehicle No-Fault disputes.
A member of the firm's Petoskey office, Ms. Kennedy also has extensive experience representing nurses, doctors and hospitals in medical liability litigation, as well as a variety of claims brought against extended care facilities and nursing homes. Her northern Michigan practice also include expertise with respect to real estate transactions, employment matters, landlord/tenant issues and business law.
Recognized as a Michigan Super Lawyer Rising Star since 2019, Ms. Kennedy is a 2014 graduate of Case Western Reserve University School of Law. While in law school, she served as managing editor of the Canada-U.S. Law Journal, received the national Scribes Brief-Writing Award and was a member of the Craven National Moot Court team.

Amy L. Diviney is a senior attorney in Plunkett Cooney's Insurance Coverage Practice Group. She represents insurance companies and insureds in litigation involving property coverage, Michigan No-Fault Law, premises liability, pet liability, toxic torts, declaratory judgment actions and subrogation.
In addition to her litigation practice, Ms. Diviney has experience conducting coverage analyses and examinations under oath, as well as drafting reservation of rights, cooperation, denial and tender notification letters.

Ms. Forbush is a member of the Michigan Bar Association, the Genesee County Bar Association and serves on the Board of the Governmental Law Section of the Michigan State Bar. She was selected to serve as legal adviser to the Law Enforcement Action Forum, an organization consisting of select law enforcement executives throughout the state of Michigan that addresses trending issues in law enforcement and drafts model policies. Ms. Forbush also routinely provides legal updates to the Law Enforcement Officers Regional Training Commission.
