The individual communities are as diverse as nature itself. Eivissa, as the island's capital, is the center of public and cultural life, but San Antonio, in the west, is also known and loved as a tourist stronghold for its lively nightlife, especially in Great Britain. In the east, Santa Eularia is a little quieter. The family-friendly town is less of a destination for night owls and perhaps, for this reason, is highly sought after by foreign residents as a real estate location.
