Prima Packaging Sdn. Bhd. ("Prima Packaging") is a leading industrial metal container manufacturer in Malaysia, producing in excess of 8 million pails and cans annually to serve the needs of over 200 customers. Operating out of a modern factory on a five acre site in Shah Alam, Prima Packaging's products are distributed nationwide in Peninsular Malaysia, Sabah and Sarawak. Prima Packaging has also penetrated the Asian region and we count the following countries as amongst our important export markets:- Singapore, Myanmar, Vietnam, the Philippines and India... Prima Packaging was formed in 1974 principally to service the paint industry. Throughout the years, business expanded, its product range increased and its pails and cans found usage in new applications and industries. In 1992, the company undertook a RM18 million expansion which entailed the construction of a new factory and the acquisition of new automated machineries.
