PRISMS is dedicated to providing information and support to families of persons with Smith-Magenis Syndrome (SMS), sponsoring research and fostering partnerships with professionals to increase awareness and understanding of SMS... My son, Joaquin Rodrigo Gonzales, was diagnosed with SMS at age two and is now five years old. PRISMS is the first website that we looked at when we received his diagnosis. The information shared on the website and newsletter has been most helpful. We appreciated the support we received and as a result, I decided to be a representative a year ago.
