With two children in college and the bills that come with that, I try to stick to a tight budget nowadays. I decided to put all major purchases off until they graduate. I learned my lesson the hard way that putting off garage door replacement can cost in the end. Our old garage door was broken into a few months ago, and my garage was cleared out by the thief. Thankfully, the entryway from the garage into our house was secure enough to keep the thief out of the rest of our home, but we saw that he tried to break the lock. I put a lot of research into my garage door options, and especially which ones were the safest, before I had it replaced. I decided to make a blog to share my experience and garage door tips I learned while researching my options.
