Alex has a varied practice within our solicitor group, focusing primarily on corporate and commercial law. He also enjoys attending court from time to time, taking on foreclosures and debt collection.
Alex grew up in Abbotsford and obtained a Bachelor of Arts from the University of the Fraser Valley. He then went on to complete his Juris Doctor at the University of British Columbia, graduating in 2022.
During his undergraduate degree, Alex worked as a lifeguard for the City of Abbotsford. During his time at law school, Alex volunteered for the Law Students Legal Advice Program and later served as a Judicial Intern at the Provincial Court of British Columbia. Alex was a summer student and then completed his articles with RDM. He was called to the bar in May 2023.
Outside of the office you can find Alex on one of the local golf courses or planning future travels with his wife. Like most RDMers, Alex frequents the shops in the lovely historic district our firm is part of and he is on the Board of Directors for the Downtown Abbotsford Business Association. In 2023, Alex was appointed to the City of Abbotsford Business, Innovation and Public Affairs Advisory Committee (BIPAAC). Additionally, as a proud UFV alumni, Alex is a member of the Board of Directors of the UFV Alumni Association.

Brian advised clients on business, real estate, estate planning and estate administration matters for more than 30 years and is a founding member of the Estate Planning Council of Abbotsford.
Brian joined RDM in 1989 and became a partner in 1995. He retired from RDM in 2022, however remains involved as a mentor when not kiteboarding in Mexico.

Emma is an experienced litigator whose practice focuses on family law, animal custody, WorkSafe/WCB, professional discipline and immigration.
Emma completed her Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Anthropology and English at the University of Toronto in 2009. She went on to complete her Master of Arts in Sociology at the University of Ottawa in 2011, and lastly her Juris Doctor at the University of Victoria in 2014.
Emma was in-house counsel with an insurance company for nearly 8 years prior to joining RDM. In that role, she gained extensive experience in all aspects of litigation, including a multitude of trials and over 200 discoveries. She has represented clients before the BC Provincial Court, the BC Supreme Court and the BC Civil Resolution Tribunal.
Farah's practice is varied within our solicitor group. She has a particular focus on corporate/commercial and wills and estate planning.
Farah graduated in 2014 from Laval University in Quebec City with a Bachelor of Law. Farah furthered her higher education in France at the University of Strasbourg with a certificate in European law. In 2015, she obtained a certificate in Economics from Laval University. Farah was called to the Bar of Quebec in 2018.
Before moving to British Columbia, Farah primarily worked as a lawyer for various provincial government agencies in Quebec City and Montreal. She was called to British Columbia's bar in 2020 and joined RDM in 2023.
In her spare time, Farah enjoys trying out new restaurants. She also likes to do various outdoor activities and to travel with her husband.

Greeta's practice is varied within our litigation group. She has a particular focus on family law, estate litigation, debt recovery and immigration.
Prior to attending law school, Greeta graduated from Simon Fraser University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Criminology and Sociology in 2015. She received her Juris Doctor in 2020 from Lewis & Clark Law School in Portland, Oregon.
While away from the office Greeta enjoys spending time with her family and travelling.

Ian has retired from his practice in the areas of commercial litigation and estate litigation. He often advised companies and shareholders on different types of commercial disputes and had an extensive experience advising clients on wills and estate litigation.
Born and raised in Vancouver, Ian received his Bachelor of Arts from the University of British Columbia before earning his law degree from the UBC Law School in 1985. While at UBC, Ian played four years for the senior men's basketball team. He was called to the Bar of British Columbia in 1986 and spent six years working for a Vancouver law firm before joining RDM in 1992.
Ian was a partner at RDM from 1993 - 2020. He lives in the Fraser Valley with his wife, Kelly, and has three adult children who are spread across the globe. Once his retirement fully sets in, Ian looks forward to more travel and golf.
Ishpreet is an associate at RDM Lawyers LLP, where he focuses his practice on corporate/commercial, real estate, commercial lending and expropriation.

Jeevan's practice is varied with particular focus on immigration, real estate, wills and estates planning, and business law.
Jeevan completed his Bachelor of Arts in 2015 at the University of British Columbia. He later obtained his Juris Doctor from Thompson Rivers University in 2019. Jeevan completed his articles with RDM and has remained with the firm following his call to the British Columbia Bar in 2020.
Jeevan was born and raised in Vancouver, and spent considerable time in the Fraser Valley at his grandparent's farm while growing up. Prior to attending law school, he spent many summers working as a Youth Program Manager for both the Vancouver School Board and Delta School District. Away from the office, Jeevan enjoys travelling, spending time with his family and friends, and trying the newest restaurants around town.

Julie is an experienced civil litigator who focuses on insurance litigation, commercial litigation, construction litigation, property disputes and estate litigation. She also has extensive experience in personal injury law.
Julie completed her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology in 1991 and her Bachelor of Laws in 1995 both at the University of Victoria. She was called to the BC Bar in 1996.
From 1996-2023, Julie practiced civil litigation in firms in Vancouver, the TriCities and most recently with Orstad Law in Langley. She has appeared at all levels of court in BC, the Federal Court of Canada and at the Supreme Court of Canada. Julie was excited to join RDM in 2023 as part of its merger with Orstad Law and to continue practicing primarily out of our Langley office.
When not at the office, Julie enjoys volunteering her time in the community. Most recently this has included as a Trustee with the Coquitlam Public Library, past Chair and Secretary and current member of the Policy Committee with the Coquitlam Foundation, and a member of the Women in Business Committee with the TriCities Chamber of Commerce.

Lakhpreet is an articling student at RDM Lawyers LLP.
Lakhpreet grew up in Abbotsford and obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice from the University of the Fraser Valley. She then obtained her law degree at Thompson Rivers University. Throughout her undergraduate and legal studies, Lakhpreet worked as an outreach worker with SARA for Women and provided services to diverse, vulnerable populations of the lower mainland.
Lakhpreet is thrilled to be working in her hometown and looks forward to building strong relationships within the community.
Outside of the office Lakhpreet enjoys spending time with her family and friends. You will also find her trying out new coffee shops, enjoying nature, and planning secluded cabin getaways to recharge.

Morgan is a member of our civil litigation team, focusing on employment law, estate litigation, tenancy disputes and debt collection.
Morgan grew up in Langley and then obtained a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) from the University of Victoria. She obtained her law degree at Thompson Rivers University, graduating in 2022.
During her undergraduate degree, Morgan worked as a research assistant for the Political Science department and as an Infrastructure Asset Technician for the Township of Langley. During her time at law school, Morgan volunteered with Pro Bono Students Canada, and later TRU Community Legal Clinic to provide free legal services to those who are unable to afford legal assistance.
Morgan began as a summer student at RDM in 2021. She returned to complete her articles and has remained at the firm since her call to the bar in May 2023.
Owen is an articling student at RDM Lawyers LLP.
Owen grew up in Abbotsford and obtained his Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Philosophy from the University of the Fraser Valley. When graduating, Owen represented the UFV class of 2020 as valedictorian.
He then attended law school at the University of Victoria, where he received his Juris Doctor. While studying law, Owen published several academic articles and was president of the Christian Legal Fellowship club.
Owen is excited to be back working in his hometown, Abbotsford. Outside of the office he enjoys skiing, mountain biking, reading philosophy, and travelling with his wife.
Paul has a varied litigation practice with a particular focus on class action claims, commercial litigation and property disputes. He also has significant experience in personal injury claims.
Paul completed his Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy at the University of British Columbia in 2006. He then went on to graduate with his Bachelor of Laws from the University of Manitoba in 2010. He was called to the BC bar in 2013.
Paul practiced at a litigation boutique firm in the Fraser Valley for 10 years prior to joining the RDM team.
Paul is happy to assist clients in both English and Punjabi.
Paul's hourly rate is currently $400 for Civil matters and $650 for Class Actions, while much of his work is billed through contingency fee agreements.

Ravi became a partner with RDM Lawyers in 2015. Prior to being called to the Bar of British Columbia in 2006, Ravi completed his BComm with honours at UNBC before earning his law degrees from the University of Windsor and the University of Detroit Mercy joint LL.B/JD program.
Ravi's practice focuses primarily on real estate law, business law and commercial lending. Ravi leads the real estate department and overseas legal work relating to real estate development, subdivisions, covenants, easements, bare land strata developments, leasing and real estate conveyancing. Ravi's business law practice includes assisting entrepreneurs in the purchases and sales of businesses and professional practices; setting up corporations, joint ventures and other legal structures, shareholder agreements and related matters. Ravi acts as outside counsel for several chartered banks and credit unions as well as private lenders in drafting facility letters and related security as well as advising borrowers.
Ravi is an active real estate investor and managing broker of My Move Realty, a national real estate brokerage spanning seven provinces having successfully sold over 11,500 properties since 2012. While not practising law, Ravi can be found volunteering, coaching or mentoring his kids in numerous extra curricular activities.

Roger joined RDM in 1980, focusing primarily on business law beginning and gained extensive experience in corporate, commercial and commercial lending transactions. He acted mainly on behalf of business and institutional lenders.
Born in England, Roger moved to Montreal when he was 11 then to BC when he was 16, where he's lived since. He obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree in 1974, his Teachers' Certificate in 1976 and his Bachelor of Laws in 1979 - all from the University of British Columbia.
Roger was a partner at RDM from 1986 to 2014, and then remained with the firm until his retirement from law in 2017. Always the life of the party, we are delighted that Roger still drops in on firm events if he's not off travelling the world.

Sareena's practice is varied within our litigation group, with a particular focus on family law, estate litigation and contract disputes.
Prior to law school, Sareena graduated from Simon Fraser University with her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. Sareena obtained her Juris Doctor (with Honours) at Bond University in Gold Coast, Australia in 2018.
Sareena takes a compassionate approach to her practice and prioritizes building rapport with her clients. She does not take a one-size-fits-all-approach, but rather she spends time formulating legal strategies specifically tailored to clients' individual needs, goals and circumstances.
Sareena is well-versed in litigation and has achieved successful outcomes for clients in highly contentious matters in both the Supreme Court and Provincial Court of BC. This includes matters involving parenting time, child support, spousal support, protection orders, exclusive occupancy orders, relocation, and division of property. Sareena is also experienced in resolving matters outside of the courtroom via mediation, negotiation and drafting of marriage, cohabitation and separation agreements.
Sharene is an experienced civil litigator whose practice focuses on estate litigation, financial abuse claims, construction disputes, contractual disputes, foreclosures. She also has extensive experience in personal injury law.
Sharene completed her Bachelor of Arts at Simon Fraser University in 1993 and her Bachelor of Laws at the University of Western Ontario (now Western University) in 1996. She returned home to practice law and hasn't looked back since being called to the BC Bar in 1997.
From 1996-2020, Sharene went from articling student to associate lawyer to partner at a mid-sized full service firm in Coquitlam. Alongside her team, in 2020 she started Orstad Law, a boutique litigation firm located in Langley where she has spent most of her adult life and raised her two children.
Stephanie Talbot had her hands full with my 2 family law cases. She was very informative, honest, and kept me at ease. She offered me practical and realistic advice. Sunny practices primarily in the areas of real estate law, business law and commercial lending. This includes assisting clients with purchase and sale transactions, commercial agreements, share or asset sale and purchase, and secured lending transactions. He also provides his clients with wills and estate planning services.
Sunny completed his Bachelor of Laws degree at the University of Birmingham, UK and went on to obtain his Master of Laws degree at the University of Law, UK. He was called to the BC bar in 2019 and joined RDM lawyers in 2021.
Born and raised in Abbotsford, Sunny has spent considerable time in the Fraser Valley and is thrilled to be able to practice law in this beautiful city. Out of the office, Sunny enjoys spending time with his family and travelling the world. He also enjoys visiting local restaurants and parks in his spare time.

Tabitha has a varied practice within our litigation group, including commercial litigation, debt claims and insurance defence. She is also passionate about personal injury law, representing individuals injured in car accidents, slip and falls or victims of assault (civil claims).
Tabitha earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from Trinity Western University in 2011. Following completion of her undergraduate degree, she worked for several years in accounting and then returned to school to study law. Tabitha graduated with her Juris Doctor from the University of British Columbia in 2017. After years of advocacy work in Ontario, Tabitha returned home to the Fraser Valley and joined RDM.
Tabitha enjoys hiking in beautiful British Columbia, but you'll never find her complaining about having to stay in and read on a rainy day. She is an active member of her church and enjoys spending time with friends and family.
Wesley has a diverse litigation practice focused on commercial disputes, debt collection, contract law, real estate, and strata litigation. Wesley also has experience in employment and labour disputes, and personal injury litigation. He has appeared before the British Columbia Supreme and Provincial Court.
Wesley received his Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations at the University of British Columbia followed by his Juris Doctor from the Peter A. Allard School of Law at UBC in 2017. After articling with a prominent criminal defence lawyer and Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers, he was called to the British Columbia Bar in 2018.
Prior to joining RDM Lawyers, Wesley practiced at a civil litigation firm in Vancouver defending insurance claims and at a leading plaintiff personal injury boutique. Wesley also served as an in-house legal counsel for an association that represents labour relations and human resource interests of publicly funded health employers.
Wesley grew up in Vancouver and enjoys spending his free time with his wife and three children.
