Lauren Browning joined QAI in April 2018 as a Business Development Manager. Lauren has a background in brand management and sales, working with some of Australia's top health food brands. Her experience has proven the importance of obtaining label claim certifications to increase brand recognition and clearly communicate brand values. When not working, Lauren enjoys spending her time going to local events, doing yoga, gardening and traveling. Lauren comes to QAI with a bachelor's in communication from Michigan State University.

Liz Figueredo has been working for QAI since 2008. A majority of this time, Liz has lent her expertise as a Technical Reviewer, while also helping with the development and implementation of several key components that make QAI so unique: our streamlined electronic systems and personal care certification. Liz's current role as QAI's Technical Quality Manager ensures that QAI is adhering to all applicable standards and statutes, so the customer and consumer can trust the integrity behind the Q mark. When Liz is not busy ensuring the integrity of organic food and personal care products, she spends her time with her family, working on her 1880s folk Victorian home, deejaying with her husband and volunteering in her community.
Susan McCarthy moved to the United States in June 1979 from the UK, landing in the eclectic city of New Orleans, Louisiana. After travelling around the beautiful country she settled in San Diego, California in 1989 with her two boys. Susan obtained her master's in business administration from Madison University and has worked in operations for most of her career, managing large facilities and dedicating her time to creating productive, positive environments. Susan has worked with QAI for nearly 11 years, currently in the role of Operations Manager. The position provides the oversight of customer coordinators, the Inspection Department and admin, while keeping a pulse on the financials. Her love of food drew her to this position but the amazing team and industry is what keeps her engaged.
