Danny P. Brown

Job Titles:

Danny has over 30 years of experience in environmental remediation, primarily focusing on multi-faceted, long-term hazardous waste management projects. He is responsible for increasing the company's operating performance, allocating project resources, monitoring cost and revenue data using real-time tracking, and providing leadership and guidance on developing new policies, procedures, and processes to position RECON for growth and continuing with hands-on oversight of large capital projects. Before this role, Danny served as General Manager at RECON. Previously, he served for 11 years as RECON's Program Manager for Gulf Coast projects, overseeing the development and growth of RECON's superfund and large site development projects. His projects have included implementing remediation systems at numerous CERCLA and RCRA sites, civil construction projects for oil and gas industry clients, and large-scale site stabilization of low-strength dredge spoils for future LNG terminal construction along the gulf coast. While in his role as Program Manager, RECON completed North America's largest crude oil expansion project. Danny started his career with ENSR and held a variety of roles, including hazardous waste technician, engineer's assistant, cost controls, project controls, construction manager, project manager specializing in large high-hazardous remediation projects and superfund projects, and account manager for the northeastern and southeastern regions of the United States.

Jeff Watts

Jeff Watts is Gulf Coast Branch Manager at RECON. Jeff holds a BS in Agronomy and Crop Science from Texas A&M University, an MS in Agronomy and Crop Science from Clemson University, and an MBA from the University of Houston. Jeff has more than 20 years of experience in the environmental underwriting, consulting, and remediation construction industry, with a primary focus on stewarding corporate HSE functions and managing large-scale remediation projects. He joined RECON in 2017. Before this role, Jeff served as Environmental Health & Safety Specialist and Senior Project Manager for AECOM, managing large-scale environmental construction projects. He also worked for seven years at USA Environment, L.P. serving as Operational Risk Manager and Senior Project Manager, overseeing the HSE and Risk Departments, and managing large-scale remediation projects. His projects have included implementing remediation systems at numerous CERCLA and RCRA sites, demolition projects for oil and gas clients, and large-scale site stabilization of low-strength sediments along the gulf coast.

Joe Naselli

Joe Naselli is East Branch Manager at RECON. Joe has more than 20 years of experience in the civil and environmental remediation industry, primarily focusing on multi-disciplinary large-scale government and commercial projects. Joe is responsible for providing leadership to RECON's Eastern Business Unit by increasing the regional performance, managing project resources, managing safety, business development, overseeing estimating, and monitoring the profit and loss for the region's projects. Before this role, Joe was a Senior Project Manager / Project Director for RECON and other environmental remediation companies. His projects have included the implementation of remedial action plans on CERCLA sites, civil construction, in situ stabilization, sediment and soil remediation, streambank stabilization, wetland / ecological restoration, landfill capping, emergency response incident command, industrial sludge stabilization, and groundwater remediation projects throughout the United States. Joe began his career as an environmental consultant, performing environmental site assessments, developing subsurface remedial investigations, and developing remedial action plans. His diverse experience provides additional depth to understanding remedial design objectives and developing alternate remedial methods when unforeseen obstacles are encountered during a project.

John Carpenter - President

John holds an M.S. in Chemistry from the University of Rochester and a B.S. in Chemistry from St. Lawrence University. Before joining RECON, he held commercial roles with General Electric, International Paper, and Mosaic Fertilizer. John is also President of Moretrench Industrial, an affiliate of RECON. John focuses on the specialized earthwork, concrete construction, ground stabilization, and facility maintenance needs of the power, mining, and manufacturing industries in the southeastern United States.

Rick Meyers

  • Midwest Branch Manager
Rick Meyers is Midwest Branch Manager at RECON. Rick holds a BS in Environmental Engineering Technology with an emphasis in Hazardous Waste Management from Shawnee State University. Rick has over 23 years of experience in the environmental and civil construction industry. Since joining RECON in 2007, his project experience includes the construction of solid waste landfills, soil and sediment remediation, pond/lagoon closures, in situ stabilization/solidification, CCR impoundment closures, mine tailings reclamation, demolition, water treatment, and handling of hazardous and non-hazardous wastes in the oil, gas, and petrochemical industries. Rick is responsible for ensuring that project management teams have the resources and support to successfully and safely complete projects, including ensuring that contractual and schedule goals are achieved. He also provides technical support and constructability reviews for several of RECON's clients to define optimized approaches for specific work tasks or overall projects.

Shannon T. King

Job Titles:

Shannon is responsible for ensuring safe and successful operational execution of programs with platinum clients, while building and maintaining client satisfaction. Shannon has over 30 years of success in long-term hazardous waste management, radioactive materials remediation, stabilization, and civil site preparation for the oil and gas industry. He began at RECON in 2006, serving as a Senior Project Manager conducting multiple RCRA impoundment closures, construction of stormwater management systems, implementing beneficial reuse programs, and performing civil site preparation for major oil and gas industry expansions. He then served as the National Account Manager for eight years, building off the team's successes which led to sole source agreements for multiple environmental closures throughout the United States, including Puerto Rico and Montreal, Canada.

Timothy Meade

Tim has more than 30 years of experience from the field craft level through all levels of project management on a wide array of projects, both small and large, with an emphasis on civil construction, environmental remediation, soil stabilization, and plant operations and maintenance. Since joining RECON in 2005, he has successfully managed and overseen hundreds of projects and has been a critical contributor to the growth and expansion of RECON. Tim's list of responsibilities has spanned safety, estimating and proposals, business development, project controls, project management, quality control, and client satisfaction. His industry experience includes oil, gas, and chemical for many Fortune 500 companies and federal, state, and local governments.

Tom Tanner

Job Titles:

Tom has 30 years of construction experience within the environmental industry. He previously served as the Business Unit Leader for the northeast region of RECON when he joined in 2015. Tom established RECON's northeast operations and furthered the company's reputation as an outstanding environmental construction provider. Tom has secured regional business with utility, chemical, manufacturing, and geotechnical companies. He previously served as Program Director for the environmental division of Great Lakes Dredge and Dock and was responsible for helping to integrate their environmental group with their international joint venture partner. Tom also opened and staffed the Great Lakes operations office located in Pennsylvania. Before that, he spent over 20 years with Chicago Bridge & Iron and its predecessor companies.

Tricia B. Irion - VP

Tricia holds a BBA in Accounting from Baylor University in Waco, Texas, and is a Certified Public Accountant. Tricia has over 40 years of financial experience in the industrial services, oil and gas, chemical, and environmental industries. At RECON, Tricia is responsible for all the organization's Finance and Project Controls functions. This includes financial reporting, accounting, internal controls, and insurance. Tricia works closely with RECON's parent company, Keller, and the RECON management team on all financial forecasting. Tricia was the Chief Financial Officer of RECON before Keller acquired it. Previous to joining RECON, she served as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for HydroChem Industrial Services, Inc. Before that, she held vice president, corporate controller, and manager of financial analysis and reporting roles at Hydrochem, where she led and directed accounting, treasury, tax, information technology, purchasing, and corporate facility groups. She was also responsible for all internal and external financial reporting, working closely with private equity owner groups, coordinating financial reporting, and organizing due diligence efforts connected with equity sales.
