Mr. Thomas has resided in the Southeast, Northeast, Midwest and West Coast regions of the United States, and in Leeds in the United Kingdom. He was born in the Midwest, brought up and attended college in the Southeast, attended law school in the Northeast and worked in the Northeast and Midwest after law school, and also worked on the West Coast for many years, in California and in Nevada.
