REFUGEE FAMILY REUNIFICATION TRUST

The aim of the Refugee Family Reunification Trust is to raise funds to financially assist refugees, primarily in the Wellington region, with the costs of bringing qualifying family members to join them here. The Trust helps refugees who have significant family members left behind in refugee camps and similar situations... The Refugee Family Reunification Trust is a Charitable Trust incorporated under the Charitable Trusts Act 1957 and registered under the Charities Act 2005. The purpose of the Trust is to financially assist refugees in Wellington applying to bring immediate family members to join them in New Zealand. Money raised will be used exclusively to help refugees pay for the expenses directly involved in bringing family members from refugee situations... Since the Trust was established in 2001, we have raised over $2,700,000 for refugees, and not a single dollar of donations has been used to generate this income.
