REGA ENGINEERING is the Local Maintenance Provider (LMP) for Romania for the Program Second Line of Defense (SLD) of US Department of Energy (DOE) - National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA). In close cooperation with the partner states, the SLD program installs radiation detection systems at land border crossings, airports and maritime ports. Assistance service is administrated by the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL)... The company was founded in 1991, having as main activity radioelectronics, and as the name suggests: REGA - Gamma Radio Electronics.
