Daniel D. Bowser

Dan Bowser has been a partner with the firm since 1999 and an associate since 1996. As a member of the firm, he is involved in turnaround situations helping companies reorganize their operations and refinance their existing debt instruments. He uses custom financial models to analyze a company's cost structure and cash flows. Dan also provides financial officer expertise to small and mid-size firms including financing, budgeting and valuation analysis. Prior to joining the firm, Dan was the Divisional Controller of a Fortune 500 company. Dan's finance orientated operational background makes him uniquely qualified to assist clients with finding solutions to troubled business situations. He is proficient in cash flow analysis, debt service requirements, and collateral analysis, including liquidation situations. Dan graduated with a Finance Degree from the Indiana University School of Business, (1988). Post graduation he became a Certified Public Accountant, (1998) inactive status.

Ken Wolff

Ken Wolff has had the unique experience of having both lent and borrowed more than a billion dollars during his career in banking and as a chief financial officer of a public company. He began his business career in banking as a corporate lending officer. Over the next 17 years, initially as an account officer and eventually as the manager of commercial lending, Ken assisted hundreds of medium-sized companies with their financing needs. During the last five years of his banking career, Ken served as Chief Lending Officer and then as the President and CEO of the bank. In 1990, Ken joined ATA Airlines where he was responsible for the Accounting, Finance, Financial Reporting, Investor Relations, Information Technology, Legal, Strategic Planning, Tax, Treasury, and Human Resources Divisions. In1993, ATA became a public company and Ken led their IPO. Dozens of public and private financings were subsequently arranged by Ken and his staff over the ensuing 10 years. Additionally during this time, he negotiated hundreds of transactions including acquisition of new and used aircraft as well as the purchase and the sale of several subsidiary companies. He was a member of the Executive Committee and the Board of Directors until his retirement in 2003. Ken joined Richey, Mills & Associates, LLP that same year and also formed Ken Wolff & Associates, LLP to do boutique investment banking assignments. Besides assisting numerous private businesses with strategic change and process improvement initiatives, he did work for the Unsecured Creditors Committee of United Airlines and the State Bank of Vietnam. Ken's undergraduate degree is from Purdue University and his MBA is from Indiana University; where he was also a member of the School of Business faculty for 5 years. During both his banking and airline careers, he was a lecturer at many different conferences and schools in the United States, Europe and Asia. He has served on the board of numerous community organizations and led many civic activities.

Margie Altekruse

In conjunction with various marketing and administrative responsibilities, Margie provides database management and analytical skills to our firm. Her background in financial analysis covers a broad range of assignments, including profit/cost analysis, tax auditing, and process improvement. Margie can streamline manual tasks thereby reducing the administrative time required to complete them. The end result provides valuable information to management in an easier, more accurate and efficient way of doing business. Margie is a graduate of the Indiana University Kelley School of Business.

Stan Mills

Stan Mills was a founding partner of the firm in 1996. In this capacity he has assisted numerous organizations restructure their operations and finances to improve their fiscal health. Utilizing his training in public accounting and subsequent experiences as a corporate controller and chief financial officer, Stan is uniquely qualified to translate operating data into useful and useable financial reporting information. Stan brings his CFO experiences in turnaround situations to help clients deal with the pressures of managing tight cash flows and strained banking relationships at the same time the company is creating and implementing a recovery strategy. Stan earned dual degrees in Accounting and Business Administration in addition to a minor in Computer Science from Manchester College. He is a member of the Indiana CPA Society.
