Alan Sulima serves as a Managing Director for RKON, leading advising services as it relates to buy-side, sell-side and performance improvement diligence. Alan offers over 30 years of experience directing corporate IT transformation, managing dynamic IT teams, and driving operations management.
With experience from fortune 500 companies like Walgreens, United Airlines and W.W. Grainger, Alan holds knowledge from a wealth of industries and technologies. This knowledgebase provides Alan the ability to evaluate, develop and implement strategic large-scale projects that generate value and growth, supporting the overall needs of the business.

A Managing Director in our Private Equity Advisory Services practice, Bruce Bothwell, has over 30 years of experience in all areas of technology enablement including IT strategic planning, ERP implementation, business process transformation, IT governance & compliance, data analytics, cybersecurity, risk management and systems integration. Bruce has worked with multiple private equity firms in due diligence, diagnostics and planning, operational and technology improvements, and carve-outs.
Through his years of experience, Bruce has held Partner and Managing Director roles at organizations such as PwC, IBM, BearingPoint and RealFoundations serving clients in the technology, consumer product, manufacturing and financial services industries, as well as CIO positions in Consumer Products and Financial Services. These experiences have given him the ability to identify technology opportunities impacting performance and transform these into tangible, value-creating solutions. A hands-on leader, Bruce works with clients defining their key business strategies and delivering technology solutions that drive value in all areas of their business.
Bruce received a Masters degree in Business Administration from Cornell University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Pomona College. Bruce has also completed advance studies in Data Science at UCLA and holds a Certificate in Data Processing from the Computer Processing Institute.

David Wright is a member of RKON's private equity team, bringing with him deep and proven experience consolidating technology platforms through the adoption of cloud, modern application development, and Agile. He has held senior leadership roles at Fortune 500 organizations focused on large-scale transformation, financial management, change leadership, collaboration, service delivery frameworks, process management effectiveness, and operational excellence.
David has over 20 years of experience in IT infrastructure and application architecture, implementation, operations, and program management across a variety of industries, including Utilities, Service Provider, and Telecommunications. David is also a proud veteran of the British Armed Forces.

Jeff Laurinaitis heads the private equity team for RKON. With years of experience working with the private equity sector, Jeff's expertise encompasses carve-outs, M&A activities, value creation, and IT turnarounds.
Jeff has worked at RKON for over 11 years and has helped build the company's Services Portfolio. Prior to joining RKON, Jeff was a Business Development Manager with Arcadia Solutions and an Account Executive with Fujitsu Consulting. In addition to his work experience, Jeff holds 2 BA degrees from the University of Illinois at Champaign.

Marc is responsible for the company's overall technical vision and strategy. Since co-founding the company in 1998, he has played a key role in creating many of RKON's products and professional service offerings, as well as building the company's internal computing platform, which serves as the basis for our cloud and managed services portfolio.
Prior to forming RKON, Marc was director of engineering at LAN Systems, where he was also responsible for launching a professional services practice at WorkGroup Productivity. He holds a bachelor's degree in computer science and mathematics from the University of Illinois and a master's degree in telecommunications from DePaul University.

Sarah earned her BA from Eastern Illinois University in 2003 and carved a career within the IT industry over the last 15 years. Sarah joined the RKON team 10 years ago and has held positions in the Sales Operations, Purchasing, Accounting, and Office Administration departments.
As the Director of HR, Sarah is passionate about fostering a positive company culture and is working to build bridges with several non-profit organizations, as well as local colleges and universities.
