Before his untimely death on June 10, 2003, Stan Greenberg was an active and visible member of the Dayton legal community. After graduating from the University of Dayton (B.S.1963) and from the University of Cincinnati (J.D. 1965) and serving two years as Captain in the United States Army, Stan returned to Dayton to begin his legal career in 1967. At the outset of his career, Stan's practice varied from representing criminal clients to business clients. Stan became a partner in 1970. By the 1980s, Stan practiced solely in the field of family law, developing a reputation as one of the best family law attorneys in Dayton. In recognition of his commitment to the field of family law, Stan received the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Montgomery County Domestic Relations Court in May 2003.
