• Trading and Operations Associate

Dylan is a Trading and Operations Associate at the firm. He joined Rock Point in 2023 after graduating from the University of Vermont, where he earned a B.S. in Finance. He assists with all facets of Operations, including trading, data management, reporting, and client service. Dylan grew up in Brandon, Vermont, and currently lives in Burlington. Outside of work he enjoys basketball, motorcycling, and listening to music.

Mary is a Client Service Specialist at the firm. Mary enjoys taking a personal interest in each client while getting to know them as individuals. Mary has experience in addressing client's needs such as opening new accounts, transfers, retirement distributions and charitable gifting. In addition, Mary occasionally provides back up support to our trading team. She began her career in financial services in 2000 with NL Capital Management (previously a division of National Life) and concentrated on trading for private clients. When the opportunity arose, Mary joined Mike Huffman at Fraser Management Associates in Burlington, Vermont, as a Trader. Upon the creation of Rock Point Advisors, Mary joined Mike at as a Trader/Client Service Specialist. Mary earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Vermont in Business Administration. Mary is a native Vermonter and currently resides in Jericho, Vermont, with her husband Hale. Mary enjoys spending time with her rescue dogs, Emma and Molly. She enjoys quilting and gardening in her free time. Additionally, Mary enjoys traveling especially to Lake Placid, New York, where she spent some time training as a competitive figure skater.

Matt joined Rock Point Advisors in 2007. He works with the Investment Committee to secure the best possible trading execution on behalf of our clients. Matt has primary quality control responsibility for portfolio data and oversees performance calculations. He also maintains the firm's Portfolio Management and Trading systems. Matt received his B.S. from nearby Saint Michael's College where he majored in Business with a minor in Finance. Matt lives in Winooski with his wife and enjoys traveling, snowboarding, and hiking.

Mike founded Rock Point Advisors in 2004. He takes the lead role in executing Rock Point Advisors' investing strategy and manages client relationships. He gained invaluable experience as Vice President of Fraser Management Associates from 1997 through 2004. Prior to that, Mike traded stocks and options on the floor of the Chicago Board Options Exchange for 16 years. Mike enjoys skiing and sailing and is a past president of the International Lightning Class Association. Mike is a graduate of Dartmouth College and earned an M.B.A. from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.

Pat performs research on equity investments in public companies for Rock Point. Prior to his arrival in December 2022, he practiced corporate law at a firm in New York City, and later as in-house counsel at two California-based companies in the aerospace & defense and internet advertising industries. Pat currently resides in Burlington and enjoys running, basketball, and hiking. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Williams College, and JD and MBA degrees from Washington University in St. Louis.

Sarah is focused on client service and operations with Mary and Matt. Sarah joined Rock Point in April 2021 after being employed by the Vermont Energy Investment Corporation for 12 years where she was an Associate Program Manager assisting contractors in Vermont navigate Efficiency Vermont programs. A graduate of the University of New Hampshire, Sarah lives in Burlington. When not on the job, she may be found doing anything outdoors, or indoors as the Stage Manager for the UVM Lane Series and volunteering for other (especially classical) music venues.

Tim manages client relationships and portfolios, while also serving on Rock Point Advisors' Investment Committee. He has more than ten years of experience advising and investing for clients, including time spent with Barclays and J.P. Morgan in Boston. Tim returned home to Vermont and joined Rock Point Advisors in 2015. He holds his Chartered Financial Analyst designation and the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ mark. He graduated with a B.S. from Saint Michael's College where he majored in both Information Systems and Business. Tim lives in Cambridge, Vermont, with his wife and two sons. He enjoys spending time outdoors, especially hiking, snowboarding and golfing.
