Andrew McCallum - Treasurer

Andrew McCallum is a Chartered Accountant (ICAS) and a registered auditor in Switzerland, the UK and Ireland. He is a TEP and is trustee on various family trusts. He also leads a portfolio of accounting and audit mandates for private and corporate clients. He is a regular speaker at conferences, holds a MBA and in his spare time enjoys long-distance Ironman triathlons. Andrew is Partner at Rawlinson & Hunter in Geneva. He is fluent in English and French.

Ariane Slinger - CEO, Chairman

Ariane Slinger is the CEO and main owner of ACE International SA in Geneva that she acquired through the MBO of the Swiss subsidiary of the British banking Group RATHBONES in 2009. After having worked as a lawyer in Monte Carlo for 3 years, she started her career in the Trust industry at CITCO Group in Amsterdam in 1991. Shortly after she became the Managing Director of the Luxembourg operation and during her 12 years within the CITCO Group she also reorganised the Geneva offices and set up the Monegasque operations. After a two years-experience within the AMICORP Group she accepted in 2004 the position of Managing Director at Rathbones Trust Company SA, prior to acquiring the business. Ariane holds Law Degrees in Corporate, Commercial and International Law. She is an international lawyer with 30 years of expertise in International Corporate Structures, Estate Planning, Trusts and Foundations of all kinds for a worldwide corporate and private clientele.

He joined KENDRIS in 2016 after retiring from HSBC Private Bank SA; former CEO of HSBC's Trust Companies in Switzerland and member of the HSBC Global Wealth Solutions Executive Committee. He joined HSBC in 2002 after working over 20 years at Swiss Re as an in-house attorney at law and tax expert specialised in corporate and commercial law and tax matters. Konrad is member of mixed expert groups (AEoI, FATCA, QI) representing Swiss Association of Trust Companies and Association of Foreign Banks in Switzerland in Berne, especially at the State Secretariat for International Financial Matters (SIF) and at the Swiss Federal Tax Administration (FTA). He is managing family's assets, has entrepreneurial activities, board assignments, and private equity investments. Konrad is writing blogs and flashes on regulatory matters and he is a regularly speaker with a large network in different industries and markets. Konrad graduated from the University of Berne and he qualifies as an attorney-at-law and was admitted to the Bar of the Canton of Berne. He joined several international post graduate studies in law and business administration.

Liechtenstein STEP Federation - Treasurer

He is Chair of the Swiss and Liechtenstein STEP Federation, is Treasurer and a committee member of STEP Geneva, is a member of the STEP Worldwide Professional Standards Committee, and has been co-organiser of the STEP Switzerland and Liechtenstein Alpine Conference held annually in Interlaken since its inception. He also sits on the Audit and Risk Commission of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies.

Philippe de Salis - Chairman

Philippe de Salis heads up the Swiss Fiduciary Operations of the Stonehage Fleming Group. He is a qualified attorney-at-law (Berne) and a TEP. Philippe joined Stonehage Fleming in 2007 after several years in private practice, where he was specializing in corporate and commercial law. Philippe is also a member of the Editorial Board of STEP's Trust Quarterly Review.

Richard Pease

Richard Pease qualified as an English solicitor, and was a partner in the Swiss law firm of Lenz & Staehelin for 35 years. He is now an independent consultant, specialising in international tax and estate planning. He was a founder member of the International Tax Planning Association, of which he is also an executive committee member. From 1984 to 1994 he was a member of the Law Society's Revenue Committee. He was Chairman of the Suisse-Romande Branch of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) from 1996 to 2003 and was Chairman of STEP Worldwide from November 2006 to December 2007. Richard is a member of the International Academy of Estate and Trust Law.

Stephanie A. Jarrett

Stephanie Jarrett advises global families, private investment offices and financial institutions on the management of wealth, tax and related matters. She runs training courses and coaching sessions for families, family offices, trust companies and private banks on managing change and structuring wealth. Stephanie advises on and is involved with philanthropic foundations and with governance structures for families often involving mechanisms such as protectors to assist in managing the expectations of families in the protection and investment of their wealth. This typically includes the drafting of charters/constitutions, regulations, trust documents and similar to ensure the objectives of families are met in the most positive manner. Stephanie is a Committee Member of the Geneva branch of STEP (twice former chair) and is a Council Member of STEP worldwide. Stephanie is also a member of the Advisory Board of the Swiss Association of Trust Companies having also been a key promoter of its foundation. Stephanie lectures on tax and estate planning for post-graduate university programmes at the universities of Fribourg and Lausanne in Switzerland. Stephanie is admitted to practice in England and Wales.

Thomas Frey

Thomas Frey is an admitted lawyer in Switzerland and member of STEP. He specializes in international tax planning, and devising and operating trust and company structures for international high net worth individuals and private corporations.

Thomas Meier

Thomas Meier is a banker by back ground and joined the trust industry in 1980. He served as a director and head of the Rothschild Trust Company in Zurich for 13 years and for 12 years as a director and head of the HSBC Private Bank Trust Company in Zurich. From 2005 till the end of June 2018 he was an executive director and head of marketing and business development of Paicolex Trust Management AG, Küsnacht, a company wholly owned by the law firm Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner LLP. Throughout his career, Thomas served as a director of trust companies in Switzerland, the Channel Islands, the Isle of Man, the Caribbean and Cyprus. He is a member of STEP and a former Deputy Chairman of the SATC. Thomas is today an independent consultant.
