SAWDC AlabamaWorks! is a non-profit organization established to support Region 7, a nine-county workforce region in Southwest Alabama including the following counties: Baldwin, Choctaw, Clarke, Conecuh, Escambia, Mobile, Monroe, Washington, and Wilcox. We are one of seven regional councils in the state of Alabama committed to supporting business and industry in every part of our organization. SAWDC has identified five high-demand industry clusters - aviation, construction, healthcare, hospitality & tourism, and manufacturing - that meet regularly and drive strategy, programs, and outcomes... We bring industry, job seekers, students, and service providers together to identify solutions for workforce needs.
