Amy Carlson is Chief Actuary at RSUI. She joined the company in 2015 and assumed her current role in 2020. Since her appointment as Chief Actuary, Amy has formalized the Actuarial Department by expanding responsibilities and assembling a team structure. She is a Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society (FCAS) and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries (MAAA).
Amy regularly volunteers with a number of actuarial-specific industry organizations, including the Actuarial Foundation and the Casualty Actuarial Society (CAS). She is a mentor with the Diversity Scholarship Program at the Actuarial Foundation, working with college students pursuing insurance careers.
After graduating with a Bachelor's of Science degree in Mathematics from the University of Mary Washington in Fredericksburg, Virginia, Amy held positions in other industries before she began her insurance career at a standard commercial lines carrier in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
In addition to her actuarial and insurance-related interests, Amy enjoys rock climbing, playing the flute, and attempting to read books in Swedish. She also spends time with her husband and two dogs at their home in Atlanta, Georgia.

Andrew Whittington currently serves as President and Chief Underwriting Officer of RSUI, overseeing the product line departments. As Chief Underwriting Officer at RSUI, Andrew is heavily involved in managing wholesale producer relationships and overall underwriting results. He is passionate about empowering underwriters to be creative with an opportunistic outlook and entrepreneurial flair.
Andrew is skilled at encouraging underwriters to solve problems while maintaining the underwriting discipline that has been instrumental to the success of the company.
After launching his career in London, Andrew brought his talents to the United States. He has held underwriting positions at General Reinsurance, National Reinsurance and Westfield Insurance.
Andrew holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Studies from Manchester Metropolitan University and a Master of Business Administration from Georgia State University.
Competitive by nature, Andrew spends his free time running and competing in 10K's and half marathons. His biggest accomplishment in this realm has been running the Boston Marathon. He also enjoys watching soccer, or "football," and playing bogey golf at world class venues.

Cindy Maxey currently serves as Senior Vice President of Human Resources at RSUI Group, Inc. She joined RSUI in 2004 and managed Benefits & Wellness until 2014 when she was named Department Manager. In addition to leading RSUI's core HR processes including benefits, compensation, recruiting, employee relations, and more, she also manages the Events and Facilities teams. Cindy finds fulfillment and takes pride in developing individuals, building strong teams, and investing in employees in a holistic way, whether that be professional growth, personal development, or overall health and wellbeing.
Cindy has more than 25 years of experience working in Human Resources. Prior to joining RSUI, she worked at Genuine Parts Company, where she held a variety of progressively responsible roles. Cindy graduated from Shorter College where she received a bachelor's degree in Business Administration. She lives with her husband and their four-legged child, Max. Family is the central part of Cindy's life, and she enjoys spending her free time in the company of her many loved ones. As an avid reader who frequents the Georgia coast, Cindy is happiest when she is seaside with a beach read in hand.

Clint Nokes oversees RSUI's Binding Authority Department. Bringing over 25 years of experience in the wholesale insurance industry, Clint has continued to bring fresh ideas to the company and his department has led many new initiatives in the realm of technology and innovative processes. Clint's efforts have improved efficiency and collaboration, within the organization and with external partners.
In 1997, Clint received the prestigious NAPSLO Internship. He completed his internship with RSUI and later returned to the organization in 2008 as an Assistant Vice President in the Binding Authority Department. In 2010, Clint received the WSIA Past President's Award for outstanding committee service. Clint previously served as an instructor at the WSIA E&S School and frequently speaks on guest panels at industry conventions and college symposiums. Currently, Clint serves as a member of the Legislative Committee at WSIA alongside Lee Sjostrom and Phillip McCrorie. Clint was named to the WSIA Education Foundation Board of Directors in 2022.
Clint holds a bachelor's degree in Risk Management and Insurance from the University of Louisiana at Monroe.
Clint is involved in his children's school as a member of the Board of Directors and a sports announcer for the high school lacrosse games. As a proud native of Louisiana, Clint can be found cheering on the LSU tigers on the weekend.

Jerry Pascuzzi oversees the Property Department at RSUI. With over 25 years of experience, Jerry brings keen expertise in reinsurance and property underwriting to his role. Throughout his time with the department, he has taken on roles of increasing responsibility, consistently demonstrating his commitment to high quality customer service, teamwork and leadership.
Jerry is passionate about building up the next generation of the wholesale insurance industry. He empowers his team to feel confident when making underwriting decisions.
Before he joined RSUI in 2013, Jerry was a Managing Director for the National Property division at Travelers.
Jerry holds a bachelor's degree in Economics and Accounting from the College of the Holy Cross.

Lee Sjostrom currently serves as Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer of RSUI. Lee's attention to detail and deep understanding of business operations allows him to push forward key initiatives. Lee brings over 30 years' experience in financial management and insurance.
Before joining RSUI in 2003, Lee held financial management positions with Voya and Assurant. He began his career with PricewaterhouseCoopers in Atlanta focusing on the financial services industry.
Lee is an active member of WSIA, currently serving on the Legislative Committee. He is also involved with the WSIA E&S School for young insurance professionals. Lee is a licensed CPA and holds a Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation. Additionally, Lee is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Georgia Society of CPAs.
He also serves on numerous boards including the City of Hope National Insurance Industry Council and the Atlanta Area Council for the Boy Scouts of America.
Lee holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from his alma mater, the College of William and Mary. He brings a sense of humor to RSUI and if he is not decked out in William and Mary gear, he is probably dressed up in costume for a company event.

Mike Starr oversees the Information Technology Department at RSUI. Throughout his time at RSUI, Mike has held positions of increasing responsibility. Mike is excited to lead a team of dedicated, highly-skilled developers and engineers with an extreme passion for creating solutions that give RSUI a sustainable competitive advantage in customer service and responsiveness.
Before joining RSUI, Mike held engineering and management roles at IT consulting firms and software companies. Mike has been an active member of many local IT-industry professional organizations. He also served on the board of the Henderson Mill Elementary School Foundation from 2011 to 2014.
Mike holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Virginia Tech. In 2011, Mike completed his Master of Business Administration from Emory University. Mike enjoys skiing and traveling with his family.

Mike Wayman leads the Professional Liability Department at RSUI. Bringing more than 25 years of experience in the wholesale insurance industry, Mike has remained dedicated to the professional liability market for the entirety of his career.
Mike serves as a resource to his team by sharing personal wisdom and encouraging the pursuit of continuing education. Since starting this role in 2021, Mike has created opportunities for a record number of underwriters to receive professional designations.
Mike holds a bachelor's degree in Political Science from Montclair State University.
As a regular reader of the Harvard Business Review, Mike enjoys learning about leadership strategy and emerging issues.

Paul Rowe oversees the Claims Department at RSUI, one of the most well-regarded claims operations in our industry. Between practicing law, handling claims and even underwriting, Paul has 30 years of experience in the insurance industry. Under his leadership, the claims department has been structured to allow for management and mentorship among each of the six teams.
Before he joined RSUI in 2002, Paul was an insurance defense and coverage attorney based in New York.
Paul holds a Bachelor's of Science in Business Management from the University of Maine. He also holds a Juris Doctor (JD) and an environmental law certification from Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University. Paul no longer practices as a lawyer, but was previously a member of the New York State Bar Association and the Maine Bar Association.
When he is not working, Paul can be found doing a number of things, typically related to cars, his dogs or his home state of Maine. He enjoys working on classic cars, but his main joy is being behind the wheel. He and his wife spend as much time as they can on the coast of Maine.
Paul currently resides in Atlanta, GA.

Phillip McCrorie is Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of RSUI. When he joined RSUI in 2003 as Chief Financial Officer, Phillip transformed the finance department to a highly efficient and effective unit by recruiting long-term talent and driving process improvement through the use of technology. Phillip has a passion for helping people achieve their highest level of success which translates to how he leads the organization to continue the strong and profitable track record of RSUI.
Prior to joining RSUI, Phillip held senior financial positions at Axis Specialty Group, Gulf Insurance, United Capitol and Van-American Insurance Company.
Phillip is currently active in WSIA as Co-Chair of the Legislative Committee. In 2020, he was appointed to the WSIA Board of Directors. He has volunteered with the organization as a committee member and an instructor at the WSIA E&S School for young professionals. In 2022, he was appointed to the Board of Directors of the WSIA Diversity Foundation.
Phillip completed the Wharton School Insurance Executive Development Program with the American Institute for Chartered Property Casualty Underwriters (AICPCU) and holds a Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation.
Phillip holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Auburn University and a Master of Arts in Finance from the University of Alabama.
In his free time, he can often be found outdoors playing golf with family and friends or spending time with his family dog. Phillip's claim to fame on the golf course is making the cut at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro Am in 2022.

Ron Hardeman is Senior Vice President of the Compliance and Risk Management Department. Ron brings 27 years of experience in the insurance industry. Currently, Ron oversees teams dedicated to each product line within product development, corporate compliance and regulatory reporting. Before joining RSUI in 2002, Ron was a professional liability underwriter.
Bringing energy and enthusiasm to his role, Ron has structured his department to create opportunities for his team to learn and grow, ultimately strengthening the offerings each person can provide. Ron and his team frequently work in unison with nearly every department at RSUI, collaborating to improve products and build business resilience for the company.
Ron holds a Bachelor's of Business Administration in Risk Management and Insurance from Georgia State University.
As a local Atlantan, Ron is a die-hard Atlanta Braves fan. In his free time, Ron also enjoys finding new fitness routines. Ron is a member of Passion City Church.
