Sea Mist House owes its modern renovations and purpose-built guest accommodations to the Christmas storm of 1998 that literally ripped the roof off the house. Sheila, her husband, Rod, and her sister, Mary, decided to transform the 19 th century townhouse into a warmly inviting bed and breakfast. Their vision was to combine the friendliness of traditional décor with modern and environmentally-conscious conveniences.
