Bruce has over 32 years in the paint and coatings industry. He has worked in all aspects of the industry, 15 years sales and management experience with Sherwin Williams, and 6 years with ICI as a Dealer Account Representative, working with independent dealers and hardware stores.
Bruce joined Sampson Coatings in 2007 and was instrumental in growing Sampson Polyurethane into one of the most successful brands in the Southeast.
Now as a Sales Manager/ Technical Advisor for Absolute Coatings Group, he works with distributors and contractors to help them to successfully build and grow their business.

David Crawford joins Valentus Specialty Chemicals after 20 year career in the United States Marine Corps, and later as a General Manager in hardwood flooring distribution. His previous role was as in distribution management and sales at Georgia Oak Flooring in Atlanta. David will manage the distribution pipeline and technical sales in his new role as Sales Manager - Residential for PoloPlaz, Absco and Sampson brands in the Southeastern U.S. David and his wife, Patty, will continue to reside in Northeast Georgia.

We are pleased to announce the appointment of Ed Reyes to the position of Sales Manager for the South Western region. Ed brings over 20 years of paint and coatings experience in the Wood Floor finish market. Ed will report to Steve Crawford, Residential Sales Director for the PoloPlaz, Absco and Sampson brands. "Ed is well-known and trusted by wood flooring distributors and contractors in Texas and Southwest. We are glad to have him on our team", states Crawford.

Kathleen E. Freeman has worked in the hardwood flooring business since age of 9 with her father. Graduated 1982 from F.I.T. with an ASS degree in fashion design. She has over 40 years' experience professionally working for E.C. Freeman Flooring Contractors, Inc., Central Wood Floors & Hoboken Floors.
She has been a professional flooring contractor since the age of 18. Her primary responsibilities were installation, sanding and finishing floors, apprentice mentoring, job-site scheduling, crew and site supervising, along with trouble shooting. The NWFA has nationally recognized Kathleen, as Certified in Installation and Certified in Sand & Finish; she is also an NWFA Instructor.
Kathleen's experience as a flooring contractor has been an asset to Absolute Coatings Group since 2002, when she joined the sales team. She works closely with customers to make decisions, which benefit both the company and the client. Her experience has been invaluable to both her company and their customers.

Nate is a 2nd Generation wood floor mechanic. He started holding cords and sweeping floors at the ripe young age of 12 and has been a woody ever since. After graduating from college with a degree in Business Management, he went back to the bay area of California to become a journeyman installer/sand and finish mechanic. He ran his dad's crews for several years before moving to Oregon and starting his sales career.
Nate sold, bought and designed a prefinished floor line for a small importer, before becoming the VP of Sales. After 9 years he left to join a finish and adhesive company as Territory Rep and later had the opportunity to become the Wood Product Manager for a large NAFCD flooring distributor. He left to start his own consulting business, and now is a Sales Manager for Valentus Specialty Chemicals. Along the way he has earned the NWFA Certified Professional degrees in: Installation, Sand and Finish, Sales and is an NWFA Certified Inspector. He also sits on the NWFACP Board of Directors.

Growing up in a family owned floor sanding business, I inherited a passion for the wood flooring market. My father's business started in the Chicago market but grew to expand into southern Wisconsin as my brothers struck out on their own. After 35 years, 25 spent running my own division of the family business, an opportunity arose in 2014 to develop new technologies for the flooring market. This drew my interest towards manufacturing. I've enjoyed the last 7 years working to develop products and concepts to help the flooring contractor with constantly changing demands of color and finish trends.
