SEC continues to work tirelessly to ensure that schools have a voice before the State and Legislature and to address legislative and regulatory actions being considered by the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC), the California Energy Commission (CEC), the Division of the State Architect (DSA), the Department of Water Resources and the Air Resources Board (ARB). We advocate for programmatic and budgetary opportunities for school energy and water projects, along with technical assistance and training for schools that are seeking to become more efficient and to avail themselves of renewable sources... The School Energy Coalition (SEC) seeks to present new ideas that work to provide a healthier learning environment for California's students while lowering school spending on energy and water.
