SELMA & DALLAS COUNTY EDA

Our mission is to attract new industrial employers, retain and expand existing industry, and be a catalyst for workforce development, education and quality of life... To us economic development is not an event, it's a process and that process begins at birth. It takes the entire community working together to create the opportunities, incentives, abatements, and the workforce to accomplish our mission. We are responsible for marketing all of Selma and Dallas County including the 4 industrial parks and the flight line at Craig Field. The EDA works with local, state, and federal partners as well as local utilities to create a low-cost business-friendly environment, with easy access to major markets. With our high quality of life and low cost of living, we are an attractive place to live, work, and play... We've helped 23 new industries locate in Selma-Dallas County since 2003. We're motivated, and we're highly responsive to new inquiries.
