SIPI

SIPI is presently home to 18 faculty members and dozens of PhD students and postdocs, assisted by world-class administrative, technical, and research staff. Collectively, current SIPI faculty are supported by tens of millions of dollars of annual research funding, have been cited >375,000 times, and have received a wide assortment of prestigious awards and honors... We have a large graduate program, with approximately 1,000 M.S. students and 350 Ph.D. students. The Ming Hsieh Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering has a total of more than 60 tenured and tenure-track faculty, and it also employs several part-time lecturers to staff our course offerings, primarily in specialty fields... Electrical Engineers at USC lead the way in fields such as Machine Learning, Brain Imaging, Quantum Technology, and Speech and Language Processing.
