Dr. Audra Alley has been practicing veterinary medicine in the Research Triangle Metro area since 2004 after working in private practice in both West Virginia and Tennessee. She is a native of Alabama and a 1996 graduate of Mississippi State University School of Veterinary Medicine.
In 2003, Dr. Alley completed her certification in Veterinary Acupuncture, and she has been an advocate of integrative medicine. Her mixture of Eastern and Western medicine has enabled her to provide exemplary and integrative care for her client's pets. In the spring of 2007, Dr. Alley led a group of veterinary students on a two-week trip to China to study acupuncture and herbal medicine as she continued her quest for advanced veterinary care knowledge.
In her spare time, Dr. Alley enjoys time with her husband, Mark, son, Reid, daughter, Taylor, two dogs, Sampson and Mercury, and two cats, Tobey & Max.
Dr. Tabor knew from a young age that her life would involve animals.
Growing up in New Jersey there was always a dog and cat in the house. She and her family moved to North Carolina and one of her first jobs as a teenager was at a Veterinary Hospital as kennel staff. After high school she attended UNC-Greensboro where she graduated with a bachelor's degree in biology.
Life then took her across the Atlantic Ocean to Namibia, Africa where she volunteered at Harnas Wildlife Foundation, a farm whose mission is to care for, rehabilitate and return injured, orphaned or abandoned animals to where they belong in the wild. While there she was introduced to Erindi Private Game Reserve and became their first female American safari guide. Her days were filled with hosting visitors on guided game drives. She is not sure she would have returned to the States if her work visa had been extended.
After returning back to North Carolina Dr. Tabor attended Ross School of Veterinary Medicine in St. Kitts and completed her clinical year of studies at North Carolina State University's College of Veterinary Medicine. During breaks, she completed externships with Wildlife Vets in South Africa and Elephants World in Thailand.
Her clinical interests are surgery, pain management and practicing Fear Free™ techniques.
Each day Dr. Tabor returns home to her two island cats, Reid & Ryann. She enjoys traveling, yoga and visits to the Outer Banks.

Dr. Emily Kirk joined Shiloh Animal Hospital in 2022 after relocating to the Triangle for her husband's job. Dr. Kirk sought a hospital with an uncompromising commitment to high-quality medicine and the Fear Free initiative- both of which she found at Shiloh! She is thrilled to be among such a passionate and caring company.
Dr. Kirk is originally from Tulsa, Oklahoma. She obtained her undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences from the University of Arkansas, followed by her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Oklahoma State University in 2014. An externship during her fourth year of school brought her to North Carolina where she practiced outside of the Charlotte area for seven years before moving to Raleigh.
Dermatology, Internal medicine, and diagnostic ultrasound are among Dr. Kirk's chief interests. She strives to make each patient feel as comfortable as possible with his or her visit. She is certified in Fear Free and Low Stress Handling (Silver) techniques. Outside of the hospital, she can be found hitting the trails with her husband, Dylan, daughter Sedona, and son Declan. She also enjoys reading, sewing, and exploring local restaurants and breweries.
Dr. Lauren Eyrich grew up in sunny Southern California, and after receiving her Bachelor's Degree from Oregon State in 2015, she made her way to the East Coast for veterinary school. A 2020 North Carolina State graduate, Dr. Eyrich has always had a passion for animals and a desire to become a veterinarian from a young age. From horseback riding and splashing in puddles with her childhood chocolate lab, Ozzy, Dr. Eyrich has been an animal lover from the beginning.
Dr. Eyrich has a special interest in geriatric and integrative medicine, as well as sports medicine and rehabilitation. She's trained in Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine (TCVM) and is continuing to expand her knowledge on acupuncture, herbal, and food therapies. She loves having more "tools in her toolbox" to help provide the best possible care for her patients. Dr. Eyrich is also Fear Free Certified and aims to make every patient's visit a positive experience.
Dr. Eyrich shares her life with her husband, Dannyel, her pit bull mix, Chloe, and two tuxedo cats, Herbie and Cherie. When she's not working, Dr. Eyrich enjoys horseback riding, spending time outdoors, cooking, and watching NASCAR races and hockey games (Go Canes!).
Dr. Silverstein moved to the Triangle in 2007 after working in private practice in Massachusetts and Arizona. She much prefers the climate and culture of North Carolina to all of her previous homes! She is a native of New Jersey, and she received both her BS in Biology ('95) and her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine ('99) from Cornell University. While a graduate student, she was part of the original team of students who created the Pet Loss Support Hotline at the veterinary college.
"Dr. Shana" pursued training in veterinary acupuncture in 2012, and she has enjoyed the ability to offer additional treatment opportunities for her patients within an integrative medicine setting. She prides herself on building strong doctor-client-patient relationships and educating her clients to empower them to participate in their pets' health care plans.
Dr. Shana shares her life with her husband, Tom, and children, Liam and Talia. Their home is the playzone for their pittie, Cisco Rango, and two cats, Ricci and Alice. In her spare time, she tries to take Cisco for a run, she is actively involved with her synagogue as a Torah scroll reader, and she sings with the Triangle Jewish Chorale. She is also the proud daughter of her parents, who are dedicated weekly photography volunteers at Wake County Animal Center.
Dr. Shayne Zimmerman has been a veterinarian in the Triangle area since graduating from NC State College of Veterinary Medicine in 1998. She completed training for certification in Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine at Chi University in 2010. She is also trained in TCVM Food Therapy and Herbal Medicine. She takes into account both Western and Eastern approaches to patient assessment, diagnostics, and treatment. The addition of Eastern treatment modalities has provided her clients with more options for managing chronic care situations and prolonging the quality of life for her older patients. She enjoys sifting through complicated medicine cases and looking for new solutions. She would be happy to talk with you about how alternative approaches might complement the care your pet has been receiving.

Stacey Lynch joined Shiloh in 2021 as the Medical Operations Manager. Stacey has devoted most of her life to loving and caring for animals. She grew up in South Dakota on an acreage where she showed horses and had dogs, cats and anything else she could convince her parents to let her bring home. Stacey had the opportunity to stay home after graduating Dakota State University and care for her family for many years, and during that time she started & operated an in-home pet sitting company.
After moving to NC, she helped out in special education classrooms and became the Client Care Coordinator for in-home senior care. She has three (almost grown) children Hunter, Carter, & Makenzie and her desire to aid animals in finding the right home inspired her to become a foster home. When the opportunity to combine her love of animals and people together as the "MOM" at Shiloh, she knew it was an opportunity she needed to pursue. She has recently started running & is working on the balance between work, life & self preservation. Stacey has found a perfect match here at Shiloh where she shares the same Core Values and Philosophy as it relates to furbabies, pet parents & staff.
