SHIN SHIN EDUCATIONAL FOUNDATION

Shin Shin Educational Foundation (Shin Shin) was originally founded in 1997 by a small group of overseas Chinese in San Francisco Bay Area. On October 1, 1999, Shin Shin was officially registered as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization in California USA... Since then, Shin Shin has been providing resources, long term care, love and services to construct or renovate elementary schools in the remote, rural and despondent regions of China. Our mission is to improve their learning environment, and therefore to promote balanced development of urban and rural education in China... With enhancing education and teaching quality as the theme, Shin Shin provides a series of training programs and online community-building platforms to rural principals and teachers, and donated audio-visual equipment to promote digital learning and online courses, which are especially important for small-scale schools with limited resources.
