Adam primarily assists us with systems administration, testing, and software development.
He worked in Library IT at the University of Illinois for 7 years in database applications development and systems administration. His experience includes a decade of campus-level IT systems at Stanford University and he was an Asst. Prof. of Mathematics at the University of Akron.
John leads our product design and development and participates in marketing, sales, and customer support.
He is also a Senior Lecturer at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign's School of Information Sciences [formerly called the Graduate School of Library & Information Science (GSLIS)], developing and teaching courses on data analytics, programming, database design. His students include those in the #1-ranked MS/LIS degree program, PhD in Information Sciences, and those in the relatively new MS in Information Management degree.
Before co-founding the company, John spent nearly 20 years working for three university libraries: For 12 years he worked in IT for the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign libraries, including over 6 years as the Director of Library Systems. He led a diverse team of professionals and student employees to implement and support hundreds of different networked library applications and services for thousands of users. Previously at Pittsburg State he was a programmer/systems administrator, implemented their first LAN, file servers, and web server, handled an ILS platform migration and helped to support a mixed-type consortium on the Dynix ILS. His library career began in the University of Kansas Libraries Serials Dept. where he learned to edit MARC format holdings records and the art of devising complex publication prediction patterns.
Kelvin does accounting, planning, software development, and contributes to marketing, sales, and customer support.
He worked in Library IT at the University of Illinois for 12 years, working on server applications, infrastructure, and workstation / end user support. Beyond libraries, he has professional experience in higher education implementing and supporting CRM, courseware, and financial services systems.
