Solus was founded in August 2009 as a partnership between a lighting industry veteran and an experienced lighting designer. The name Solus was derived from the Gaelic word for light, or knowledge, reflecting our company's mission to share our knowledge of lighting with the design, construction and distribution community... The Solus team is based out of Portland, OR and comprised of a dedicated crew of experienced professionals with decades of combined experience in the lighting industry. Solus provides services to design, construction and distribution networks throughout Oregon and Southwest Washington... Solus provides expert guidance to lighting designers, architects, interior designers, engineers and other specifiers. We help navigate the many lighting options available and know how to resolve issues before they become problems.
