The MSRC is one of the few centres in North America that offers four interactive bridges for ship-ship or tug-assisted manoeuvring exercises... Founded in 2005, the Maritime Simulation and Resource Centre (MSRC) is a purpose-built marine pilot simulation training and turnkey port procedural development facility, offering unique navigational safety expertise in North America... WesPac Midstream LLC contracted with the Maritime Simulation and Resource Centre (MSRC) to conduct a week of full bridge simulations of LNG Carriers transiting the Fraser River in southern British Colombia, Canada. We brought in Fraser River pilots for the LNGC's and used all four simulation stations (LNG Carrier and three tethered tugs). MSRC provided local captains for the tugs.
