Sino Gas & Energy Pty Ltd. (SGE) was registered in Perth, Australia in July 2005. SGE specializes in tight gas and coalbed methane (CBM) exploration and development. The company was registered and approved by the State Administration of Industry and Commerce Bureau in July 2006. SGE is wholly owned by US-based Lone Star Funds and focuses on CBM and natural gas exploration, production, and development in China.
