Julie Davis

Julie Davis is a senior Legal Secretary who joined Sorensen & Brown in early 2014. In 2013 she undertook and attained a Certificate IV in Legal Services and has a Diploma in Legal Services.

Peter Sorensen

Job Titles:
  • Founding Partner of the Firm
Peter Sorensen is the founding partner of the firm Sorensen & Brown which he established in Crows Nest in 1970. Peter has been actively involved in the community in many ways. He has involved in pro bono (free) legal work for some time for which he received an award from the Law Society of New South Wales. He has also been on the board of four different sailing clubs and Commodore of Middle Harbour 16 Foot Skiff Club and acted as a solicitor for all of these clubs mostly free of charge. He has also managed to fit in championship level sailing winning Australian and world championship racing. Peter Sorensen founded the firm in Crows Nest in 1970. The firm changed its name to Sorensen & Brown in the early 80's after Tony Brown had become a partner. Sorensen & Brown is the longest standing firm currently practising in Crows Nest. Sorensen & Brown provides a range of services which have evolved in response to, and are matched to, the needs of the local community. It serves both commercial and private clients many of whom come from the north shore of Sydney but some of whom are scattered around the country and even overseas.

Tony Brown

Tony holds Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Laws degrees from UNSW and was admitted to practice law in July 1976. Initially he worked for a small firm in the city and in August 1979 he joined Peter Sorensen at Crows Nest. Tony has been with Sorensen & Brown ever since and has been the managing partner for the last 20 years.
